Forgive me and ignore me if this is too much off topic: Are there audio replacement for hubs? Sometime I forget to look at my HP level and I'm quite surprised when I die from a weak attack.

Or if not audio, something that affects the entire display, like making gamma proportional to low HP.

You mean like the HEV suit in Half-Life that announces when you reach certain health percentages? :P

I've also seen games that flash the screen red or play a heartbeat sound when you're low on health. I don't think I've ever seen any mods to add stuff like this to any other game, though, but they might exist somewhere.

Exoanthrope: Bump, and I realised I never posted those screenshots you asked for, so here's 2 for Hexen, 2 for Heretic, and 3 for Hexen II, if you still want them.

I also just realised the resolution might be a little overkill on those.
Thanks. I added them to the wiki.

I know there are visual mods like that at least for Fallout 3/NV and Skyrim so I'm guessing you can find them for other games as well.

More OT, the Metro games are pretty HUD-free by default, more so on Ranger difficulty, and a few things are shown with actual in-game stuff like Artyom's watch instead of some magical display.
Added Fear 3 and Rage.
Necrobump.

In Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith, setting screen size to the maximum setting hides the HUD.

If you reply to this message and attach some hud free screenshots of those games to your post, I'll add them to the wiki.

I uploaded them to the wiki. I don't know your editing style, so I haven't created a page.
