I downloaded sherlock holmes versus jack the riper and after i downloaded and installed it and press play nothing happened. I even went to more and did the verify/repair option and still nothing is happening. Someone please Help!!

I'd suggest looking for help on the game forum - gog.com/forum -> search bottom left "sherlock hol" - and if that doesn't help, contact Support. You may also look for help on the Steam forum.

I just downloaded and installed the game and it runs great so we can mark off the game itself being the problem.

Now I don't use Galaxy and for me to play a game I double click an icon. When you say nothing happens when you hit PLAY that tells me you must be using Galaxy? If so one thing you could try is uninstalling the current version you have, download the backup game installer, double click that file in your Downloads folder, and install it outside of Galaxy just to mark off any sort of Galaxy/game getting along together problem.

Guessing that's not it though and so if you want more help it would probably require you to post your machine's specs including OS, CPU, GPU, and type of hard drive (HHD, SSD, etc.)
