Hi, I'm new here. I wanted to Gift 3 games to a friend and accidently bought them for my own library. I tried support, but it seemed to be a merry go round. What do I do?

Merry go round in what sense? Support are the only ones that can help you. If you haven't attempted to DL the games, they should be able to convert the games into gift codes for you.

As GR00T said if you have not actually attempted to download the games support can make them gift codes. Support here is very helpful and will for sure do what is right. What exactly do you mean by a merry go round anyway?

As GR00T says, contact support. As long as you have NOT downloaded the games or any of the bonus files then they should be able to convert it into a gift code for you. It might take a few days however so you may need to wait patiently. While you're waiting you can come up with different ways of remembering to check the [x] gift code box in the future. :)

If you have downloaded anything however then the store policy generally will not let you gift it afterword.

This is the link you should be using:

https://www.gog.com/support/contact/my_orders_and_payments

select your order and in the other drop down (problem type) select the option to change to a gift order

As GR00T said as long as you didn't download the games then support can make them gifts. But don't download anything not even the bonus stuff like wallpapers just be patient.
Thanks for your help. I was wise enough to not Download any. I have contacted support and Hopefully I get a gift code?

Its too early for thank yous.
Gogs response was to credit me money in a gog wallet. And from there I can gift it. Only problem is- I'm now $13 short .
.whereas before I had the correct amount. Because Singularity- the game. Is now 13 dollars dearer. Why?
