I went to place an order for a game, but something went wrong, so I tried to buy on credit and was able to make the purchase, but now there are two orders for the same game. What do I do? Will I be billed twice?

Contact GOG support about the issue.

A pending order is created any time you go to the checkout page, but if you didn't actually complete the checkout by confirming your payment twice, don't worry, unpaid pending orders would be automatically removed from your log after a short time.

As Chasmancer said, one of them is simply pending and will disappear after some time, since it wasn't successful.
