I stupidly purchased Obduction only to realise when I went to download it that I purchased the version for windows / PC? When I am on a MAC. I wrote support a message about either switching the version over for me or giving me a refund. That was yesterday and I still haven't heard back. Any suggestions?... :-( What usually happens in this instance and how long do they take to respond?
It doesn't look like Obduction is available fro Mac?

Typically, GOG's support folks don't respond on weekends, so you likely won't hear anything until Monday at the earliest.

Support is a skeleton crew on the weekends, so wait until after the weekend to see if they respond. As long as you haven't downloaded the game, you should be eligible for a refund.

Also, Obduction doesn't have a Mac version on GOG; otherwise it would have been included with the Windows version. Maybe there's a Mac version on Steam?

Doesn't look like it has a Mac version period. Saw a post from the developers apologizing about it...

There is no Mac version for Obduction anywhere. I'm curious to know why the OP thought there was one here. Also, when going through the checkout from a Mac computer GOG typically brings up a blurb about incompatible games, i.e. Windows-only, so....
Thank you so much for your replies. Mistermumbles I am positive I saw it available for Mac in a few places. Unfortunately I purchased on the wrong site :-( Hopefully they'll contact me tomorrow and issue a refund. It was in 3 separate downloads and when I attempted Part 1 download it said incompatible exe file. I stopped at that.

Hello, I find from Obduction FAQ :

"I bought Obduction, but the Mac version is not there! What gives?"

"If you were not a crowdfunding Backer of Obduction’s Kickstarter campaign, the Mac version will not be available to you until the retail Mac build is released to the public.
If you bought Obduction from Steam or GOG, you will be able to access the Mac retail build once it officially releases."

Then no matter, you must wait official release of the Mac version, or get refunded here and wait to buy it again later.
Koima that's very helpful thanks for taking the time.

You are welcome; and to GOG boards too! :)
To clarify: buying a game at GOG.com automatically gives you access to all OS versions they offer (eg sometimes an Android version might be found elsewhere but is not offered here when you buy a game).
