I did on the first day, and now am having trouble again.

The first day, I got double charged, because the store hung up on my during a transaction for several minutes (10+). I got fed up, closed the window, and did the order again. About 15 minutes after the 2nd attempt (which was successful), I noticed a duplicate charge on my paypal. I contacted support, and got it taken care of quickly. So kudos to GOG for speedy response.

Now here a few days later I am having another issue. I just bought a few games from the Lucasarts bundle, which subsequently wiped 8 games I had in the cart, since you can not stack a bundle purchase with other purchases. So after re-adding the other 8 games I had carted, I go to make another purchase, and after clicking pay now on paypal, it dumps me back to the checkout screen on GOG, as if no purchase had been made. I try again, and it does the same thing. But then I remembered the problem from the other day, and now am worried I may have bought those 8 games twice. And won't find out for about 15-20 minutes from now if it posts. Though the 8 games are not in my library.

Though it could be unrelated, and I am just being paranoid. If it is unrelated though, any suggestions on how to fix this?

edit: was worried this might be a paypal issue, so i just did a cheap throwaway bundle purchase on groupees.com and it wne through just fine.

edit 2: fraud alert apparently. fixed, and bought. why do i get all the bad luck.

The only troubles I've had purchasing during this sale are those that are moral, philosophical, or metaphysical. :-(
I have had a small amount of trouble deciding what and how much I should purchase. :)
I had trouble deciding if I should purchase X game or W, Y and Z only to come back in a few hours and have the same problem with the same games. Same thing the next day. But not the next because I forgot what Y was.

dm36: The first day, I got double charged
I've had that happen a few times (ie. first purchase attempt failed, and I foolishly tried to buy again without checking first if I had already been charged), but it was several years ago, and I was trying to buy lots of games (like a dozen or more) at the same time from GOG. I haven't had that happen ever since, during these sales either (I've usually bought a few games at a time now). Naturally GOG fixed it when I informed them.

At some point in the past GOG also had the bug that if you had lots of games in your account, purchasing more would fail, but that was obviously fixed (I was hit by that as well).

Lately my GOG purchases have been going just peachy. I use the credit card option.

Only trouble I've had with the current sale is not having enough money.
