DCT: sounds about right. take away the "controversial" nature of the subject matter and you get a bland medicore shooter and to think this is what people were getting all worked up over not being sold here? god damn the way people were acting over it you think it was the next Dues ex..
I'm gonna ignore how Deus Ex is overrated, and how you misspelled it .

The reason people are getting all worked up over this is because over 3500 people voted for this, and GOG refused it without a single logical reason, and without bothering to give any explanation . Everything that was mentioned as a potential reason for not selling it is moronic, the "curated store" excuse being the most idiotic - if GOG ever, at any point, had any kind of standards for what they sell, Kingdom: The Far Reaches would never have made it here, just to point out one example .

JKHSawyer: Tracido was kicked from the Steam Hatred group for being a douche, no surprise to see him being a douche elsewhere.

Tracido: Nah it was all the cunts like you that earned the reactions and I'm glad you did, I'm coming right back very shortly. :)
Sure thing, kid.

Well informed and intellectual, well said.

Oh your SJW butt buddy, I see, good to know?

Hope you've got a clean record.
Tracido! Come back! The elitists are doing it again! They're badmouthing a very deep piece of social exegesis! Help!
Edit: (wait, you -are- back) :D

tfishell: Like, combine this with psychological monsters from survival-horror games like Cry of Fear, and I might actually buy this.

Fesin: Having some really fucked up monsters to fight, but occasionally getting a "glimpse into reality" and seeing that they are all actually just civilians/cars/etc.
I was thinking something closer to The Suffering, where the monsters are real but there are meanings behind their looks, like how the poorly humans have treated one another conjured up the beasts.

However, regarding what you've mentioned, I can't believe that hasn't been a "twist", sort-of (sick) joke ending yet in any games (or maybe it has). You play all the way through only to learn you were killing innocents because you injected too many marujuanas. :P

Well he almost got chucked out of here and that is no small feat. XD
Contrary to what he will say and think I had nothing to do with it.

I know it's totally alright to dogpile if you are elitists, I keep forgetting. ;)

GOG doesn't owe you or any of the other 3,500 people an explanation.
They're under no obligation to divulge their standards, thoughts or reasoning publicly.
Some people might think that GOG owes them that, but they don't.
No one here is an actual part of the business infrastructure that makes decisions at GOG.
It's not any customer's call to make.

If anyone here is that unhappy with it, buy it elsewhere. Don't buy from GOG anymore. Send staff an email to have your account deleted in protest.

But that's not going to happen, though.

jefequeso: Yup, somebody in their marketing department sure knew what they were doing.
Well unless they were the ones who sent those mass letters to Steam requesting the games removal from Greenlight which kicked this whole thing off, then I say give those marketing guys a raise and a half if not then nah. I just think they just got lucky and took the ball and ran with it.
