Why would you not want this game on GoG? How does its simple presence bother you so? You don't want to play it, that's fine. But censorship is when you decide not to have content based on the content. If they offer a DRM free version, why should GoG not pick it up? No one will force you to buy it if they release it here, so how does it affect you in any way, shape or form?

Since we're on GOG forums, we're talking about the possibility of this game being included in GOG catalogue. But, as some users above pointed out, this indeed is some kind of censorship. And I have nothing against it, some things simply should be restricted. Funny thing is that you probably do agree with banning some things (like neo-nazi propaganda in Germany for example), but the word "censorship" sounds so scarry these days that you're willing to claim that EVERYTHING should be allowed.

As a person who believes in personal freedom I find all this "NO don't put on here!" deeply disturbing, As non-Blues we should NOT be trying to dictate what others can or can't get here (that's the job of the staff). We should be trying to expand the experiences of our fellow posters & GOG customers by introducing them to games the others might not know about.

So how about the freedom of GOG to decide what they want to put in their catalog? They do it all the time, by the way, reviewing applications from game developers and picking and choosing games to include according to various criteria. Do you see it as censorship if they decide not to include a certain title? Do you see it as censorship if they take into account discussions that take place here in the forum or in the wishlist? IMHO, freedom should not be mistaken with entitlement to use someone else's distribution channel, regardless of characteristics of a product you might want to push through it.

Not to mention that personal freedom also includes the right to voice a disapproval of a product in a public way, just like the author of the said product has a right to try and sell it to others. To borrow from you own post - we should NOT be trying to dictate to others that we should be trying to expand the experiences of others, REGARDLESS of subjectively-perceived qualities and features of products to be potentially offered on GOG. Because that would simply stifle the dicussion and could even lead to loss of reputation and popularity of GOG if they started to promote any and every kind of game that has even the smallest following...

I wasn't going to wright anything here because I know someone is going to rage at me, but this game looks so f**king awesome! The trailer is f**king intense and I hope they do bring this game to Gog. Well that is my opinion so don't go freaking out at me. :P

2. OK, cool. Except that's a kind of a strawman. What I'm talking about is the freedom to say "See, I'd rather that GOG did not include game X because of Y." If Y happens to be a compelling argument to GOG staff, surely it would be okay for them to take it into consideration, right? On the same account, I don't see saying "GOG, I don't like X, please censor it." being ever able to sway them into complying...

BTW, hypothetically speaking, if you were a higher-up at GOG staff, would you go for an "anything goes" policy when deciding about the game catalogue expansions?

If anything I can agree to is that the mentally disturbed type gonna go crazy and do physical harm to people should not play such games. However sane and logical people that have common sense yeah I know there's few =P that would like to buy the game should be able to because they can tell the difference from reality and fantasy. end rant.
