This thread would die if people would accept some simple truths:

1) Not selling Hatred on GOG is not censorship, it is a business decision.

2) Destructive Creations manipulated the public into thinking Hatred was something it was not. It is a shitty-to-mediocre game and even the Steam reviews are beginning to reflect this.

3) There would be less SJWs and their ilk if there wasn't an equal opposing force (SFAs, for example).

4) It stops becoming 'food for thought' when the argument is repeated ad nauseum with no new insight.

5) Berating others for no good reason usually creates a cycle of insults. Either apologize and move on or STFU. Failure to do either keeps this going.

I am guilty of #5 this so I'm going to STFU and forget this thread exists.

I don't agree on everything with you. But I approve all you said.

You know, more or less that is how free speech works. I do not agree with him, but I will not frown his views.

Ahh....Ok.

LeonardoCornejo: Not everyone likes it, it is a very polarizing game, and I really don't see why would people like it. But I think I am wasting my time talking to a person that strongly defended Anita Sarkeesian not so long ago.

What the Hell is this mess?! I don't come to this thread for well reasoned arguments and facts! I come for the anger against those pesky NTSD people and their horrible supporters of the GNU, or whatever!

Acronyms are the enemy, people! It isn't the robots who will conquer mankind...it's the retarded acronyms!

This thread would die if people would accept three facts.

1. GOG not selling Hatred because of it's violent content is censorship.

2. Destructive Creations did not manipulate people into thinking Hatred is something it is not. They made it very clear to people what Hatred is.

3. Hatred being shitty or mediocre or whatever is not a fact but the opinion of people who do not have a taste for such games.

All I know about Hatred is that it runs like ass on my rig. It's an all right twin stick shooter blown way out of proportion by the gaming press. It has a cool aesthetic and cool destruction physics, I'll give it that, but no matter what settings I run it on, be it high at full resolution or low at 800x600 resolution, it still hovers between 20-30 fps. Meanwhile, I can run Crysis and Metro decently on my rig. It's not the best, but it certainly shouldn't be running this poorly.

Get Postal 2 instead. It's a better game in general.

As for why GOG isn't stocking it, well I don't know. I doubt it's because they're "SJW" because both Postal 1 and 2 are for sale on GOG, and not only are they often worse than Hatred, but RWS are also out and out pro-GamerGate. My current suspicion is either worry about media backlash or simple disinterest in the game due to it not being all that great, so I'm gonna leave the pitchforks and torches for now.

Of course, if they decide to stock the game, I'm certainly not going to complain. Seriously, the game isn't that bad. I've done far, FAR worse in Postal 2.

I also believe it has to do with avoiding media backlash. Which is not GOG's fault completelly but still SJWs are to blame. Basically I see GOG as hostages, forced by peer presure to reject a game. It is still censorship but they are not the enemy.

I agree. Because holy hell, it would make no sense for them to deliberately censor Hatred when they're selling both Postal games on GOG right now. My assumption is always Hatred isn't on there for either media backlash or curation purposes.
To me, this is what this thread has become.

1) yes, I agree, but is an inconsistent decision compared with sell other similar games. But is their decision.
2) I don´t agree, I think the game looks like Postal from the very beginning. Nothing more nothing less. (And it is better)
3) Maybe.
4) Not sure about what you meant.
5) Yes
