Has future gog ??

I love gog.com but unfortunately in the medium term I think they will have it very difficult:

- More and more developers are supporting the Drm-Denuvo-Always online

- Some developers have published their games on gog and then they have abandoned them on this platform. In addition many games with features such as achievements or cloud save in the rest of those platforms do not have that feature in their version of gog

-There are games that lose features in gog after their launch (achievements are lost, cloud save even though they were added in principle in gog)

-There are small developers that previously published in gog and now they only add their games to steam

-There are developers who after publishing their game in gog later remove the gog game because the platform is not profitable

-Many genres are not accepted by gog (for example sports games that have had some success in steam as full ace tennis)

-Steam has drm free games that are not added to gog when it would be very easy (eg shenmue)

This is very sad, but it is very difficult to maintain the platform when there are more and more developers that support the drm. I do not like this industry.

Yes it does have a future. There are other publishers like THQ Nordic and many indie/middle market companies that do support GOG in addition with the copious amounts of older titles available exclusively for this platform (if you exclude the retail version which for many is difficult to locate). The original intention for GOG was about preserving older video games, which they still do, but have also branched out onto a modern games market.
They have a much stricter quality control method as compared to Steam, which can be a postive or negative factor depending on how you look at it.
In the terms of developers removing their games from GOG due to being "not profitable", how is limiting the consumers methods of purchasing said product, going to increase profitability? I never understood that rationality.

Shenmue is not on GOG because its owned by Sega, who as of now, has never released any of their published work onto this platform.

GOG has the future. That is why we are here. We are the fortunate few who will enjoy possession of the future when it comes. The rest of the world will evaporate into the Steam of the past. While we the brave GOG warriors will inherit the wind of the future!
Future gog has future. They will travel back to present day very soon and bestow on us future games.
Has future gog? Heh, difficult to see... always in motion is the future....

Good Future Games
Imo, the FCKDRM initiative is a great step in the right direction. Contrary to popular (?) belief, I don't think the way GOG thrives in the future is by releasing every low-effort tech demo that the other stores love to churn out by the gallons. Rather, I think it is time to capitalize on all the extremist "us vs them" subgroupings in society. DRM-free isn't just an "option", it's a way to embrace. For people like me, PC gaming = GOG. Even for other folks not willing to go this far, GOG is objectively superior to Scheme, U-Pay, O-rent-gin...let's let it be known in a vocal manner.

Along these same lines, though, I have to add to the chorus of voices imploring GOG to please stop apologizing for tweets and social media. The only social media that I feel GOG should apologize regarding is the "trusted partner" Facebook and the debacle with having to manually opt-out of profiles. That said, GOG has such a perfect foundation, DRM-free, that as long as they keep it, I can't see how the future wouldn't keep staying generally as bright as the present (YMMV but I am a current very satisfied customer).
Yes,it has a future and it's Galaxy.
Past gog was;
No GOG will die and we'll all cry. cry die

GOG has future.
Yes GOG has a future, as long as more people will support drm free games... If people want to rent games then who knows what will happen.

As long as old games exist with paths to trace in the depths of the earth.
GOG should have Future Wars.
