kai2: Yeah, seeing that UbiSoft has put the Watch Dogs series on hiatus for awhile, would be nice to see it on GOG... even if it's just the first game.
Honestly, I'd love to see Ubi bring all of their Watch Dogs - and a lot of their other games, for that matter - that currently still require UPLAY and bring them to GOG, re-working them for the DRM-FREE-style & GOG offline-lifestyle here that we love here on GOG.

kai2: Has anyone played Watch Dogs? If so, what did you think of the game?
The first game? Pretty decent but nothing special. I wish they would do something more interesting with the setting. The auto aim feature that couldn't be switched off was annoying.
The story is moronic, the protagonist bland like stale cracker, and it's formulaic and visually as forgettable as possible. And yet, I'll admit, there is some fun to be had, if you just want to kill some time with a video game equivalent of a so-bad-it's-good action film. But if you want a really great open-world city-based crime fighting game, stick to Spider-Man. It makes Watch Dogs look like The Last Jedi next to Empire Strikes Back.

I started Watch Dogs but havent finished it yet.

The online component isnt too bad as a requirement for gameplay but is still annoying and disruptive. The game is ok but it does have the typical open world unlock towers to unlock the map. I admittedly havent finished the game yet so cant say for sure how good the game gets but its ok. Nothing really stands out to me so far.

The hacking mechanism is quite interesting through.
