Hi all,
For those that got Hard West in the sale, what are your thoughts? This is a game I have been looking at for some time as I like westerns and XCOM EU.

I would appreciate your thoughts as it is still on sale at Steam or I may just wait for it to go on sale again here if you think it is worth it.

Quite good. More difficult and tighter than the XCOM games. What'll make or break it for you is if you can see the reasoning behind the player not having overwatch, or whether you hate that change with a passion.

Jack of all trades, master of none. It's got combat that bares a strong resemblance to X-Com, stealth, resource gathering, equipment, permanent injuries, none of which have the depth I was hoping for. The occult story, authentic Old West weaponry, and the narrator are a huge plus though.

Thanks for sharing your opinions! Still undecided, however; the things you both stated are the very ones that have kept me in check from purchasing it yet.
