Ornery_Ocelot: The end of the trailer has a gog.com logo!

Austrobogulator: I absolutely loved Hard Reset when it was released. Just a wonderful shooter. I finished it once for every difficulty level. I never finished the DLC though.
The DLC basically ends in a "To be continued".

So just like the main game.
Have the new system requirements for the new engine been listed anywhere?

tomimt: I doubt added enemies and a cyber katana will be enough to make the game actually good. What made it boring for me was the bland game play. it doesn't really matter how many different kinds of enemies you shoot if the gameplay itself is bland and disengaging.

Azhdar: Well, I agree those changes are not big surprises. IMO, this redux version is enjoyable for HR fans and may attract some new players. But if you don't enjoy original HR, I don't think HRR can change your taste. I just wait for the final release. Because there are no detailed info (changes and new features) about the redux version yet.
Nothing detailed, just:
The Redux is “reenergized for modern audiences with an upgraded visual engine and rebalanced gameplay, along with new enemies and weaponry (cyber-katana!)”.

See: Hard Reset Redux page at Gambitious website.
That sounds pretty cool, I was wondering why GOG didn't already have Hard reset just a few days ago.
Ah god, ah please, ah NOoooo!!! After Deathinitive Edition and a select few other "HD Remakes", my faith in "humanity", "developers", "publishers" and, well, Remakes, got SHATTERED COMPLETELY, entirely, to minus infinite, to reverse nadir and even beyond... I want to cry... No more remakes for me, even if they give them out for free :'(
Did they ever list the system requirements for Hard Reset's newer engine?
Article regarding Hard Reset Redux, includes 16 minute gameplay video:

Seems like the redux adds quicksaving, the original really needed that.

But... Swords, dashing and quicksaves...
Probably should've been a patch but that doesn't usually happen after 4/5 years. :P

Mmm, I tend to agree. It will be interesting to see if its is released here and at what price. I am also a bit concerned whenever I see "coming to <console>, <console> and PC" in any description. Am hoping it doesn't feature a dreadful interface.

The interface in the original was fine, I doubt it will be all too different.
Might want to check out the gameplay video for redux.
