Happy Holidays from the GOG.com team!
The holiday season is here. The world, in all its little shopping frenzies and chaotic reunions, seems to slow down just a little. It slows to taste the crisp winter air, to be childishly entranced by all the lights and colors.

As for us, we're going to celebrate with a little something special.
With a new free game in our catalog: Bio Menace, something of a mix between the smooth and joyous gameplay of Commander Keen, and the alien weirdness of the original Duke Nukem platformers. The spacey 2D shooter by 3D Realms is now part of our selection of free, truly worth playing, classics.

With a Happy Holiday Sale from GOG.com & Bethesda:
Have a holly, jolly discount. It's the best time of the year. We don't know if there will be snow, but have a cup of deal. It's up to 75% off the entire Bethesda catalog on GOG.com - including the three and only classic Fallout games, as well as some of the best shooters in history: the retro Wolfenstein 3D & Return to Castle duo, The Ultimate DOOM, DOOM II & Final DOOM alongside the Quake series (from the singleplayer gory of Quake + Quake II, through the timeless mutliplayer mayhem of Quake III). Finally, there's the chance to explore the history of The Elder Scrolls with classics like Morrowind, Battlespire, and Redguard.

As always, any purchase from the Bethesda catalog on GOG.com comes with a free copy of The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls Chapter II: Daggerfall!

Looking for last-minute gifts? There ya' go.
The sale will last until December 29, 4:59 AM GMT.

Have a happy holiday season!
Thanks for the free Bio Menace, GOG & Bethesda.

Now how awesome would it be if during the last 24 hrs / 3 days Fallout 3, NV and Oblivion would be added here on GOG for sale (and obviously be here to stay).

Now that'd make for a really awesome Christmas/New Years Surprise.

Well, one can always dream... (Please make it happen, guys)
Sanra is comming to town ...
Meh...not a Bethesda fan, for me its a disappointing sale offer.

Edit: already got the Fallout games

But I am, thanks GOG & Bethesda. Seasons Greeting and Happy Christmas to you all.
Forgot to mention Quake 4. All Qs are on GOG, why not Q4?

Voted. :)
Well I bought the Doom games, I often dis Bethesda but still end up buying their stuff anyway.
I was choosing between Doom and Quake, but decided on Doom.
I'm still holding out for a potential New Years' Sale with some Star Wars stuff I missed out on before.

Its interesting though, how the environmental designs in older FPS like Doom are actually part of the gameplay, with secret doors, switches that transform the landscape and so on. In other words you interact with the design.
In modern FPS the environmental design is normally just limited to being scenery and barrier, there's little to no interaction with it, it never really becomes an element of the gameplay.

Will not happen probably and unfortunately. Still, I would rather get more SW oldies released than another sale.

After some doubts I grabbed these: Fallout 1 and 2 (planning to replay them next year), Doom 1 and Morrowind (had no doubts about this one).

Tanks GOG and BETH!

I am looking for someone who can gift the Wolfenstein Series and Quake 2 & 3 to me. I am living in Germany and do not have access to these classics. Whoever is willing to do this, please message me, I'm really desperate :D

Greetings and Merry Christmas to GoG and all happy customers!
It just occurred to me but:
It's up to 75% off the entire Bethesda catalog on GOG.com
Arx Fatalis: Not close enough for a GOG Bethesda sale, but close enough for a Steam Bethesda Sale.
Bought Wolfenstein 3D. Wouldn't load. The forum suggested something called ECwolf which worked. I expected it to load flawlessly straight from the download though that's why I buy games old games here. That said maybe it did work flawlessly when released on GoG.
Thanks but why not say "Marry Christmas" I just hope that GOG isn't being pressured by PC police. Not to be confused with PCMR (PC Master Race) police who go around making sure all the frames are fast.
