I know a lot of right-wingers in Spain are celebrating it (anniversary of the 1936 military rising), but I suppose you've got some other reason.
dtgreene: Well, it *is* the 17th of July. This is the *only* day during the year when we can say the date is July 17th; that's what's being celebrated.
Plus, the 'Alzamiento' took place on the 18th (that is, exactly 82 years ago), and not on the 17th.
Would be great for the lulz and also for poetic justice that the impending 'unboxing' of General Franco took place today. xD
