A Ranked Mode, a revamped XP system, and 20 new cards have arrived!

UPDATE: Patch 0.8.33 is now available on PC and Xbox One! It brings 20 new cards, ranked matches, and new premium cards!

For the full details on everything that's new, head right this way.

UPDATE: Maintenance is now over. Welcome back!

Hey, card-slingers! We're performing a scheduled maintenance of GWENT's servers. During the server downtime, we will deploy the newest update including Ranked Mode as well as revamped XP and reward systems. As a consequence of the changes the update introduces, your player level will be set to 10 (if you were below that level, nothing will be changed). The maintenance should conclude on Monday 2PM UTC.
Stay tuned for more details on the update.

TheDyingScotsman: It was not like that in previous builds at all, it was only right-click, always was. You're possibly just thinking left-clicking worked, but it most definitely did not.
It actually worked in the previous build with both keys, I tested it. I found this quite surprising, as in the older ones it only worked with right click, so I guess my earlier statement wasn't 100% accurate.

Another funny bug that happened today - opponend losing internet connection while being paired up for a ranked match results in an eternal loading screen (after the message that he lost his connection appeared).
Was tinkering with a Skellige deck, and Savage Bear did not activate against Eredin. Since the effect is "play" Eredin, not "spawn" Eredin, the Savage bear should affect it
i get random crashes back to desktop. sometimes takes a couple of shots to load but when running plays well
I wonder if there ever will be a backup installer for the game.

Probably once the game is officially released. At least that is my guess.

I noticed what seems to be a bug. The card Nekker from Monsters deck is supposed to get 1 powet whenever my card absorbs the power of another. But when I use Ekkrima to absorb one of my cards Nekker does not gain any strenght. Is this a bug or I read something incorrectly?
Could you include the old Gwent songs or remix of them in the game? I´d love it
Why does northern realm poor infantry spawn unlimitly? You can only have three cards of any one kind in deck so every other card is limited. Only exception is breedable cards yet when you activate with monster nest all spawned cards have original base strength. In comparison to poor infantry which doubles with base strength change intact. Why not limit each kind of card to an equal three in deck and not exceed that for any card for any deck? Not to mention, any strength increase in every deck can increase base strength except in monster deck...strength change is temporary, only exception is leader card sets to six. Dimetrium card can reset strength to original except for the cards that increase in base strength.
This makes the monster deck unfairly vulnerable. How about equal rules to make equal decks?
Also, Northern realm, skellige, and scoia'tael decks have bronze cards to access their own graveyard, monster deck can not, they can only steal from opponent's graveyard, foglets don't really count base strength one compared to pulling twenty point cards back out of your own graveyard. Monster deck should have same ability. Limits are set by only getting random 10 cards and then 2 then one in numerous combinations to enhance skill play..so make decks equal, if bronze cards for three decks allow you to enter your graveyard then fourth deck should be able to.
ok, I tried to send this problem to support but no fix yet. Too many players have found a glitch in card crafting which allows the player to have two of the same gold card in play at same time. Since the decks are kept on gog servers the decks should be syncronized when players log in and the duplicate gold cards deleted. Most of the leader cards and many gold cards show two different craft costs. Somehow the players who think cheating is cool have managed to put both in deck at same time. How about a fix for fair game play, when game is available for retail who would be happy to pay to play cheaters?
