An ostrich! An ostrich! My kingdom for an ostrich!

I hope this paraphrase won't be too difficult ;)

Lion King?
(Not very likely, but Simba does ride ostriches there).

No. The theme of that quote is somewhat important too (that is - knight related stuff)
What's the genre?

ZFR: What's the genre?
Action according to MobyGames

Oh, a knight. I was thinking about kings (you know, Shakespeare and stuff).
Is it a Japanese game? Japanese and Koreans have some riding birds in their games.

And would *you* agree with it? Does it have any adventure elements? Any RPG elements? Any strategy elements?

What's the view perspective?

No, it's american. And yeah, we are definitely talking about knights not kings ;) Knights doing knighty-stuff I might add ;)

Yes, I would agree. There is no additional genres mixed into that game.

It's a 2D game

Side view or top-down?

Do you control one person only?

Knighty-stuff like Jousting?
The funny thing is I've actually seen it, but that was too long ago for me to remember the game's name.

Yup, that's the one! A great game, it's freeware so I recommend getting it. Pure fun :D

I've seen it in the arcades. Should I get that nostalgic, I'll know what to look for then.

OK, the cogs are in place and the crypt is open, the music box is in the train, the toy from the cave is found and I've no idea what to do next. Should I do something else in the factory maybe?

Syberia

ZFR: Syberia
Bullseye! :-D
And I seriously don't know what to do next, but I'll try to find that out myself. That's the fun with these games after all.

Your turn.

Probably the only adventure games I finished were Amerzone and Syberia, and recently Teenagent.

OK, here is the next question:

Help! I repaired the bridge, but after crossing it the witch that goes back and forth keeps hitting the switch and blocking my way before I can cross. Will getting that lightning bolt in the house full of spiders help? I could sure eat more apples...
