Ah indeed.
Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos?

Probably not though but I can try
I'm beginning to be really worried...
Sorry guys for not posting earlier, I had a really busy day today!

Sanjuro: Funny that the first thought I had after reading the description was "World of Goo?". Now that I re-read it, Tetris would also fit.
Too little info. :-(

EDIT: So is it World of Goo?
Nope, it's not World of Goo.

samwisegamgees: Why are you all falling?
We...do not know. Are we falling? Most of us are, but perhaps if we look at it from another perspective, maybe some of us view it differently - I like to imagine I'm perhaps jumping off a cliff, while another imagines sky diving but without the parachute. But most are probably thinking - if they think - they they are just slowly falling until the land. Traversing the air, that's the best answer! However none probably know why, especially the external forces. It just...happens.

Maxvorstadt: How are you falling?
Slowly. Well, we can go faster, but usually we fall slowly. Oh, and sometimes we turn around in the air, and imagine hitting the floor like that! You'd probably say 'Ouch!' if you imagined we just fell on what looks like a head to you. Or especially when we fall down in awkward positions where only some parts of our bodies touch the floor, the rest almost unnaturally facing a different direction.

ZFR: And are you human?
avatar
Maxvorstadt: Or are you dancers? (In this game of course!)

Sorry, couldn`t resist! :-))
No, but you could imagine one dance as we fall and turn around in the air, moving here and there...;)
avatar
Fever_Discordia: Are you still there?
(heh - I sound like one of those turrets off of Portal!)
Heh, I liked that game! Yeess, yeeess.

(that wasn't a game related question, right? But aimed at me. :))

ZFR: Ah indeed.
Yep. Feel free to ask another!

Ghorpm: Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos?

Probably not though but I can try
Nope, no falling there.

Finally you're starting to ask all the right questions! :)

Is it Just Cause? There is a falling scene at the very beginning of the game. I couldn´t get beyond this, because the game crashed every time I succesfully landed!
Still sounds like Tetris - someone DID guess that earlier, right?

Sanjuro mentioned it, but settled for world of goo. it does sound like tetris is right.

But in case it's not, my question: are you all falling simultenaously, or one at a time?

Well since another question has been asked I suppose that I get to guess 'Columns' as well - there were a couple of points that made be lean more towards Columns after I'd posted...

Yeah, you're right, it is Tetris! :)

Hope you all folks enjoyed the game and my little play on the humanity of the blocks and their imagined sentience! It was so much fun imagining what they'd say if you were asking them questions.

For am I not alive, I who am this creature of blocks and strange matter? And art they not my brothers and sisters who share this form of mine, yet stacked in a different way?
Ok so in this game is was playing I suddenly got to this timed mission where I had to find and set off 3 explosive charges to separate the part of the structure I was in from the rest of the structure because the structure was set to PROPERLY explode and I needed not to be in connected part of it when I did
And it was really non-linear with 3 vertical levels to the map and multiple ways to go between them and certain things on certain floors unlocked when I set certain charges off on completely other floors and there were crawl spaces that turned out to be completely optional and a random trap / loot room filled with bugs
And a couple of times I had to kill certain guys to get them to drop keys to access other parts of the map
And I got stuck and had to watch a walkthrough and it turned out that the reason the airlock on the 3rd floor wasn't open was that, even though I'd found and opened the charge back on the first floor somehow I hadn't actually set it off!
And did I mention this was TIMED?
And NO other levels up until this point had a time limit and I was over halfway through the game
nightmare level!
But of which game? Hmmm?
I'll just start with asking a question :-) Is it only you that has to do all this stuff or are there some friends / companions?

Fever_Discordia: But of which game? Hmmm?
I'm not sure since it's been a while, but could it be Mass Effect? Some Cerberus/Rachni mission?
