You’re a Shiravune games enjoyer? Better dig in, then!

For the most exciting news – Succubus Sessions: Mami Mamiya’s Sweet Slice of Hell is now available on GOG, with a -30% launch discount until September 27th, 9 AM UTC! After years of isolation, a friendly son of Adam is just what Mami’s village needs to reacquaint itself with the outside world! Demon contact, however, can prove lethal to your average joe... Not Koichi, though. This guy’s built different.

But it doesn’t end here – because Encode Encore! is soon to follow, and you can wishlist it now! It’s a charming, slice-of-life indie RPG where you earn some sweet cash by trying out various part-time jobs – all in the name of getting your girl the perfect gift! But just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, life throws you an unexpected twist...

Check them out!

No, as a matter of fact Shiravune is on my blacklist! Wish GoG had a blacklist, certainly it would be a lot more useful than the wishlist.

These ones are okay, I guess. Glad to see Shira still working with GOG. Note that the other commenter doesn't represent everyone on GOG and some of us like this content. ❤️
Someday we'll get Dungeon Travelers.
Hmm, I didn't expect to see Encode Encore here. I'll pick it up when it comes out. I wonder if publisher will also translate the DLC at some point (I'm not expecting it to be included in its first official English release, but it would be a welcome surprise).

Edit: I just picked up Succubus Sessions, but the offline installer download window was blank (all of my other games are fine). I hope the problem gets fixed soon.

Update (09/16): The offline installers are finally available.

I am not that interested anymore in these game on GOG since I know that they rejected games or uncensored versions of these games. I can't be sure anymore to get the uncensored version on GOG (recently they released another game of these kind which was the censored version but they completely "forgot" to add this little information anywhere) and I also will never know if the games I am waiting for might never come here because GOG simply already rejected them ... so we will always end up getting tame versions off these games if there even are any.

If GOG does not want these kind of games here like it was before 2018... fine. There weren't here and I did not miss them - but selling them here and still having some arbitraty rules what they are willing to sell (we are not talking about legal problems here) is like selling horror games but only if they aren't too scary or violent.. but wait: they don't even have such an arbitrary threshold when it comes to horror and violence... in any case ... GOG simply missed the target group with this approach and imo this is a pretty sad thing.

To make it perfectly clear: this is not a complaint about Shiravune, Sekai or any other publisher. They did nothing wrong. I am only blaming GOG refusing to release certain games or version of games here.

To be fair, they're just doing it more like Steam now. Steam doesn't allow several games that are here already. Just like when you purchase certain adult games on Steam, you'll need the patch from the publisher's website. With the two games here, GOG hosts the patches. But some (Nie No Hakinawa, for example) they don't. I appreciate them carrying these games for the time they did, but would recommend adult fans to check out Jast USA, MangaGamer, Kagura Games (Official Site), Denpasoft and DLSite for all of your eroge needs and itch.io and Oppaiman (payment options coming soon) for all of your AVN needs. These are all DRM-Free adult platforms. As I stated, I didn't mainly use GOG for my adult game needs, there are so many sites with a larger selection of those and without censorship or content bans. But for ALL and I mean ALL of my non-adult and SFW games, I'll choose GOG.

The more GOG is annoying me and the more they are preventing the option for me to buy certain games the less I will buy. Maybe one day I will stop completely buying here. In any case these decisions are not a good way ro attract or keep customers and that's the reason why I posted what I posted. I am simply disappointed and again: they only have these completely arbitrary rules when it comes to these kind of games. No such rule exists when it comes to blood and core and dying people left and right ... it is ridiculous.
As I said, I never really used GOG for their adult games in the past. It was good that we had them here, but the plans seem to have changed with this company and now they're focusing more on SFW titles as they should. I know that the Nymphomaniac S** Addiction game will get horribly criticized in the forums and it might be one of the last adult games they publish. That's fine. I've given you all options. But please, do not stop supporting GOG over this. I have bought several games in the past few weeks/months and will continue to do so. I can get adult games anywhere. Where in the heck am I gonna get DRM-Free Ys Nordics? Exactly. I've been playing more of those games than the adult ones, so the answer to me is really clear - GOG is still the place to go for DRM-Free gaming, but maybe not for NSFW DRM-Free gaming.

It's just nicer to not have to split to 5000 different sites. But yeah it's not problematic to get most of the games DRM Free.
(Except as German you need a VPN for say DLSite too).

Oh, I get the convenience factor of it all. But I know pretty much all the sites and there really aren't all that many. I subscribe to their emails, hang out in their discord servers and subscribe to all of their updates in my own server so that makes things pretty easy. Now with Germany's strict behavior about adult software, I don't know how one would be able to do all that. I suppose with a VPN, but I haven't encountered such a problem here in the states.
