You got me really scared there for a moment as I cannot afford Ghost right now. The title really sounds like a warning that the game is about to be pulled from the shop.

Went through about 70% with a party, around the same with a solo character. Its was meh. Back before white march expansions, so don't know about them (although I do own them). It isn't currently on the to play again list, which is dwarfed by the still to play list by several parsecs, but maybe I should give it another go if so many think its such a good game.

Wait until the mood strikes you. My reaction to PoE was pretty much the same as yours, although I only played through it once. I've not played the White March expansions yet, and right now the thought of slogging through the game again isn't all that appealing, so I'm waiting until some point in the future where I'll get the urge to try it again. May not be anytime soon, but I'm pretty sure it'll happen eventually. Perhaps I'll look into mods to see if that makes it more appealing to me...

I really like the look of Ghost of a Tale, but, when it comes to new games, I have to stick to my No Tux, No Bucks rule.

The White March is pretty much the only thing worth playing in PoE in my opinion. So I'd say, if you've played through the entire thing, give it a chance, as it might redeem a bit the whole experience of playing the main game (I'd also agree that's really dull and underwhelming).

Doing everything? Main game with WM 1+2 doing everything, reading everything and stuff: ~150 h - one playthrough. I'm a slow player exploring every nook and cranny - but 37h vs. 150h seems a bit strange, WM 1+2 are not that long.

Idunno, I usually seem to have a faster playtime with RPGs despite not skipping stuff or whatever. xd
Seems like it's usually 36.5 for main story and 58 for that plus sidestuff. According to How Long To Beat at least.

Ixamyakxim: *Phew* I almost thought this was a "game is going to go away" thread!

So I'll bite - I've been interested in it because frankly, it looks gorgeously whimsical. And I love the Secret of NIMH in medieval times vibe...

... but is it really an RPG? Or is it more of a stealth Metroidvania? Why do they describe it as RPG? New gear? Stats? Perks?
NIMH is the whole reason I even went on this game's page.
