That's right, Google Play is having a worthy promotion of entire first seasons of kids and family shows. These are the kinds of cartoon shows and the like that the whole family can watch comfortably.

https://play.google.com/store/movies/collection/promotion_400142a_orchard_seasons_tv

Take a stroll to the ink above, there'll be SIX FREE season ones of six shows, as well as a discount on two other shows. Most of them are HD save for Bo on the Go which is SD.

EDIT: The promotion may be exclusive to the US, though try seeing if you can enter the link.

ET3D: "Movies on Google Play is not available in your country yet"
My Google account is set somehow to only show me the US Google Play store despite being nowhere in the US. I don't remember how I did it, but it'll elevate a lot of problems if you manage to end up with a similar result. I'm not even using proxies to do that.

Well I recently set my account to use a US address and it finally gave me access to the app underground thingie, and quite possibly enable to download US ONLY game content such as the freebies mentioned earlier (but I was too late to check).
But Not Movies and other media apparently, as I get the same message as ET3D.

In my case, Movies and other media are working. Before I login and access Google Movies, it be like "No, we don't know of your country yet!", but when I login, regardless of device, I just enter like nothing happened. So yeah, there's a trick to make all of the Google Play Store accessible, just that I don't know how I managed to execute it.

The same with me. If someone from here logs into google play, the movie tab doesn't even show up, and if they try copying the link, it says it is not available. However, if I'm signed in, I can see it all.

Not seeing any free seasons of kids and family shows, though...just a couple of free episodes of idiotic reality tv shows and talkshows like cake boss and Barbera Walters... The link in the first post doesn't work for me.

Painted_Doll:
It seems the offer is over.
There is a way to workaround Google Play restrictions, but this isn't always easy.

First, if you already made any purchases on your Google account, then it will likely be locked to your country (my main Google account appears to locked to Poland). There might be a way to unlock it, but the easiest way is making another one.

Second, use a VPN and connect to your destination country. Go to the app manager on your Android device, look for the Play Store, select it and clear cache.

Launch Google Play Store again and you should be in the different country (if your Google account isn't locked - this attachment shows new Bond alreadly available to pre-order in the US Play store).

Now you can get anything what you want. (I've got Netflix and few British apps). If you get anything that's free, it's yours - you'll be able to update and redownload the app even without a VPN connection and Google won't stop you, because the app will be registered to your account (even if Google will block this method).

However, be careful with paid apps or in-app purchases from other regions - I haven't tested them yet.
