Yes, but it is still the same product. Your Star Trek remasters do not become Star Wars remasters. It's still the same show, albeit with some additions. That does not make it a new product it is old. It has just been remastered. Now if it was a remake of the same show with different actors, a completely new or modified script and whatnot, then it would be a new product. Remakes are new products. Remasters are simply updated older products with a few extra bells and whistles. The source material is still old. A reprint of a comic from the fifties is not a brand new item. It is just a modern print of the same story.

Nearly all games made in the last ten years, are cheap counterfeits of older games, filled with microtransactions and stupid crap.

For real, the last thing I was thinking about before I started browsing your store, was how much I loved Caesar 3 and Lords of the Realm 2. I wanted to find games from that era... But what I get is 'popular titles from last week' which again, is neither good, nor old...

There are no good new games... their either abusive hellscapes that punish you to do unending microtransactions or its a $2 cash grab that was slapped together as a cheap copy of someone elses success...

At one point I went looking for the old school 'oregon trail' but it doesnt exist, but a game by the same name, is a farmville clone that wants you to check in ever so many hours to water crops... thats not even remotely what the original oregon trail was... Its disrespectful to manipulate people that way... To cheapen everything down to the lowest common denominator, abusing nostalgia in a desperate attempt to squeeze a buck out of people...

Then you have these people that say 'their just encouraging you to do microtransactions' its not encouragement, when you are not allowed to have fun without it... When you are punished for trying to play without it...

This blind, 'the glass is always half full' attitude is ruining everything. Red Dead Redemption 2 online, pays you less money for finishing objectives quickly... If you run that race in record time, you get almost nothing, if you idle on the finish line until the last thirty seconds, you get the maximum... How is that a satisfying RP experience? Thats punishing you into microtransactions...

So I just want old games, that were 100% finished on release... So I can have a fun experience without being abused into paying extra... Can you just give me a list so I can live?

Yes, I get that you want more old games. But they are trying. Every now and again they'll post that they've added long lost games that I've never heard of and people are excited about. That being said, let's not assume that EA will never release games to the platform, they have before.

And yeah, a lot of people come here for newer games too. If you don't like the state of gaming today, I dunno what to tell you. Things change, people copy ideas and make them their own. Now you can make of that what you want. It's not going to change.

I get upset because I have a majority public opinion that makes decisions for me, without asking me what I think. The Elder Scrolls franchise for example. Has gotten worse with each new addition. But because the graphics improve public opinion decides that its better. We had an authentic role play experience that degraded into a shiney power fantasy. guys, give this man a break. This guy was just looking for some videogames that have been in GOG's catalogue since the beginning and he was having a really damn hard time finding them, so you can understand where all the frustration and rage is really coming from. Using the search bar might be easy for you, and most of the people on the entire planet, but that doesn't mean it's easy for everyone, so like pls don't be a meanie ;D

Jesus... Have you played Morrowind? Can you even make an objective comparison with Skryim? Bruh, im Morrowind you got a text message describing where to go and what to do... You had to think about how to do any given quest, and there were plenty that you could outright screw up. If you killed an essential character, the game give you a message warning you that the game cant be finished if you continue... Thats called agency... Skyrim gives you quest markers down to the foot of where to do, holds your hands through the objectives. That is called baby sitting...
