Seems like Switzerland is on a good way to replace the UK in the race for the "best" price *sigh*

What's more, as of late GB is slightly benefited by regional pricing. Another Brexit consequence, I guess... :P

According to the metrics, UK is actually doing really well lately, -0.41% average, so discounts winning. And Switzerland is on "top", with +7.05% (if you don't count that bug on Sheltered that gives it +33% for the "most of the world" region... plus regRO and regRS).

That's a significant price drop. Wonder if it's a change of heart, or a bug/GOG mess up.

GOG fixing a mistake in the first place.

This regional-pricing nonsense is getting more and more ludicrous.

HypersomniacLive: This regional-pricing nonsense is getting more and more ludicrous.
I completely agree that regional pricing is ludicrous (per se), but as I think we discussed not long ago, things like this must be due to converting prices to other currencies. As in, the same amount (e.g. $9.99) translates into different figures when converted to different currencies, so I'm pretty sure these small differences are the result of tweaking the resulting price (in the non-dollar currency) to make it more marketing-y (i.e. ending in '9', or '99').

EDIT#1: Hmmm... I've just checked, and Google gives me the following conversions between U.S. dollars and Polish zloty, so I don't really know what to think...

9.99 USD = 39.66 PLN
10.99 USD = 43.63 PLN

EDIT#2: And of course, the $10.97 in the Euro regions comes from considering $1 = 1€... :\

Which makes it all the more ludicrous.

The more logic one tries to apply, the more ludicrous it all becomes.

Thought it had long been established that regional pricing is pulled out of someone's rear end and done just because they can get away with it, with the full end result being as close to the product of said rear end as they can get away with getting.

Indeed; it'd appear that muntdefems wasn't given the memo though.

It was a discount, after all. May be or may have been a bug too, or may be that they realized they can get some sales there at regular price too so why not...
