muntdefems: So Brazil no longer can into Europe, eh? :P
THQ Nordic acted quickly and put them in their proper place :p
The privilege to pay a surcharge on every game shall remain a strictly European affair *scnr*
except for the UK obviously, they can't keep up with us as well ^^

this really would have deserved a blue Good News™ post to properly appreciate the fuckery. *scnr*

Heretic Kingdom:
- 3 year old game doubled in price (with no explanation)
- 27% surcharge for EURO land ( if we assume the rumoured 30% that GOG gets from the sale, aren't they paying almost all of that back as part of the fair price package?)
- $11.39 => $39.99 (351%) What did you do South America ?
We Happy Few:
- $17.28 => $50.99 (295%) some more love for South America
- $8.79 => $30.19 sry, Russia did we say double the price?, that's of course quadruple the price for you

And it's even more crazy when you know that the game still isn't finished yet. People are still waiting for the second act.

Maybe that means that second act may actually be coming? :/

Book 2 of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms is on the verge of being released according to a post in the Heretics forum. As GOG specifically says the price increase is for 'Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms [Season Pass]' this price increase implies the whole caboodle is in fact due soon...

Bear in mind that the '[Season Pass]' bit was manually added by mrkgnao to MaGog's database (just as he does with '[In-dev]', '[Pre-order]', '[Premium]', '[Upcoming]', and other tags), so we shouldn't read too much into it.

The post in the Heretics forum you mentioned looks like a more reliable hint that something is coming, though.

Ah thanks, I hadn't realised that (the MaGog's additions).

Yes, especially as it was posted by a blue. I'm hoping it'll be here sooner rather than later.

Thanks. I had already found that one, and here's what's puzzling to me. If Book II will be available for purchase as a separate product, why was the price for the existing product increased?

That's quite over the average VAT most Euro countries have, so Kalypso Media Digital is going for some profit on top of profit, because everyone using the Euro (and some that don't) is filthy rich.
