One thing that I actually enjoy in video games is the glitches. Some glitches are actually rather funny, allowing one to do things one wouldn't expect to be possible or fool around in interesting ways. Sometime, there are games that actually take advantage of things that would be considered glitches or exploits in other games. It is this sort of game that I find rather interesting.
Anyway, here are the criteria that the game should satisfy:
1. Game should have glitches that are fun and interesting. Glitches that enhance the gameplay are preferred over those that hinder it, for obvious reasons.
2. Ideally, the game should not be updated any longer. If it is updated, the developer should be glitch-friendly; in other words, the developer should not patch out harmless glitches or fix exploits. (On the other hand, if a glitch does cause real problems (like making certain abilities not work at all, or crashing the game in casual play, then it might be OK if the glitch gets fixed.)
3. It helps if the game has mods that take advantage of the glitches in the base game to create interesting gameplay.
Any game suggestions?
