Oh man! Jive bunny, that brings back memories, I think they also did a Hawaii 50 cover and we used to all form canoes on the floor and row like hell :)

I know the Honeybess and like them alot, heres a nice modern revamp of the style :

skeletonbow: What about Good Ole Socks? GOG could start selling socks, in particular retro styled socks that sock companies don't make anymore. It'd be cool if they also started selling ST-506 hard disks again too as Good Old Disks (GOD.com) to truly have the best retro gaming experience, while wearing socks from the 80s that they sold you from GOS.com

Seriously, it's practically a no-brainer that they should do this, the profit potential is so obvious.
I hear you but, toe ware and darning. Or Darn toe waring?

KiNgBrAdLeY7: My number one, all time round, is "Rasputin". Not only because of disco and boney m. I have some certain interests and amateur field researches for personal interest, as a hobby and certain historical figures are key among them.
Another song with a historical figure is El Lute.  I love this song, but Rivers of Babylon is by far my favorite one!  :-)

KiNgBrAdLeY7: And RIP for that crazy dancer, died few years ago, if memory serves.
I agree!  Even though Bobby Farrell has not really contributed to the studio albums, he was an amazing performer and played an important role in the group's success.

KiNgBrAdLeY7: ABBA, too, is considered GOM for me.
 ▪  Stars on 45 - ABBA Medley

Here's the track featuring Hawaii 5-0:

 ▪  Jive Bunny - That's What I Like
Doris Day
The Andrew Sisters
The Ink Spots
Louis Armstrong
Billie Holiday
...
Nice selections here =)
I prefer the Micheal J Fox cover from Back to the Future although it was then made even more awesome by 331Erock on YouTube who did an epic metal cover of various Back to the Future songs :)
Yeah Like this one

Angelorum gloriae, Anon 1300s
We could use some good old music right now so... bump

Also the 2012 version of ELO's Mr. Blue Sky is my next pick

Now this is my kinda thread.
Bump.
Magnum

A British soft rock band I first heard of when randomly picking through records in a shop, when they didn`t have the exact one I wanted, was given a gold coloured record in its place :D

On a story tellers night.

Any AC/DC track with Bon Scott really, favourite song from each major album:
* [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpp24UYfr4Q ]You Ain't Got A Hold On Me [/url] [High Voltage]
* High Voltage [T.N.T. ]
* Ride On [Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap]
* Let There Be Rock [Let There Be Rock]
* [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErXbMB9R5-0 ]Riff Raff [/url] [Powerage]
* If You Want Blood (You've Got It) [Highway to Hell]

Weird a combo as it is, but early Tangerine Dream :
* Phaedra
* Zeit
* Rubycon

And Brian Eno and Vangelis:
* Apollo
* Alpha
* End Title Reprise ... from Blade Runner

There's a tonne more but it would simply take too long to find and list them all.

Never going to work. There are too many different types of music, and music dates back to the stone age. GOG would never have a catalog wide enough to make any significant money on it and compete with big players in the market. However the same can be said about movies and they went ahead and did that, which was a bit of a fail.
