duelistgamer: Is it normal for the account to connect but still (incorrectly) determine that there are no eligible games?
Same here. I own several games that Connect might detect, but it doesn't. Profile was set to 'Friends only' before, as instructions didn't say anything about this. Now I set it to Public. Still no luck.

Update: Ditch above - another attempt found 11 games, as expected. Good.

reddoggultima: It probably won't work for everyone, even given time. The service crawls your steam community data for games, and this kind of thing is unreliable at best.
Except it doesn't. It uses the official Steam API, and that is quite reliable. Many websites out there use it quite successfully.
Will it, now? Most probably, it is going to be the same as the physical code redemption of games to gog... Games supported to be eligible are extremely few, all the big ones are missing (like FEAR and BATMAN and Namco Bandai ports) still and as days pass, no new games seem to be added to the list, either... If this goes on as is, there is NO reason at all for someone to link steam account!

So I've added another game since I "connected", this time it took a while but eventually a refresh did show 1 eligible.
No I wonder, If I set my steam profile 'private' again, prior to adding, will this eligibility disappear upon another refresh?
As Gog "reserve the right to remove the games from your GOG.com library" upon deletion from steam, and connect api may think it was deleted.
I can attest it works for me too

I tried connecting the day gog connect came out, let the tab run for a day and then decided to just refresh the tab the next day. It worked like a charm after 15 seconds, just seemed like the servers were hammered the first day

As I mentioned in the Introducing GOG Connect thread, when I initially synced my two accounts, I needed to set my privacy settings to Public, but then reverted to using Private settings after that.

However, I still received notification this morning of a new eligible game, which I then imported into my GOG library with no trouble. With any luck, things will continue to be as easy in the future!

For example Saints Row 2 should be eligible as I own it but the GOG Connect page says otherwise.

nepundo: Have you set your Steam profile status to public?
Yes.

EDIT: It works now. Probably just an API limit I guess.
