Bovrilled: Sales can be annoying in a way, I was thinking of buying a certain game a few days ago but came on GoG to find there was a sale going on, now I feel like I'm in limbo waiting to see if the game goes on sale or not.
What's the game?

tinyE: Are they actually making a Doom 4, and what is this commercial for, I think consuls, billing this new game as just Doom?
...Did you have a stroke mid-sentence, or...what happened?

I seriously don't know what the bit about "this commercial" and "consuls" was meant to say.

...Aaaand I just got your joke, right before I clicked "Post". (Other kind of stroke.) =]

D4rkwolf: Not sure if this the right place, but I bought Doom and Doom II on Sunday I believe for $15 and it's on sale now for about $2.50 each x.x anybody know what their policy is with situations like that? I'm not dis-satisfied with the games, It's just my luck to buy something right before it goes on sale x.x
Send a ticket to support. They might give you store credit for the difference. They might tell you to piss off. Either way, can't hurt to ask.

Well, who knows. There's already a couple shootery-type bundles, but I could see there being an Unreal series pack at some point. And if it's not in this sale, the game will probably be discounted in the big summer sale in June (or thereabouts). : )
All Hail GoG Customer service, I simply asked them about their policy on sale stuff; and (I didn't badger them for a refund, I simply stated that I'm happy with my purchase, I just wanted to know what happens if you *Just* bought something i.e. 2days, what happens if it goes on sale) Long story short they turned my purchase into a gift card store credit thing...and I ended up buying the Bethesda Shooter Bundle :D

THAT RIGHT THERE, is why I love GoG, they actually care. They didn't have to refund me anything, I would not have been upset if told "No, sorry". but they credited me anyway...and that's why I trust GoG, they go beyond answering questions, and actually put in effort to care for us as customers! THANKS GOG!
They gave you credit for an extra $20 worth of games? Holy moley, I think the support team is still winding down from 4/20. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with those superheroes.

Grats. In the future you should wait for sales on anything you buy unless you want to:

1) Support the companies
2) Need the game/movie right now no matter what

The prices will always drop, and if they have in the past then you just need to wait for the next sales. Patience = more money in your pocket and more games in your library.
HEY GOG!

I got all 751 of my games and three hours later they all went on sale.

Can you help me out?

YES, even the free ones. I swear.
