With the release of Cyberpunk 2077 coming on November 19th, our offer becomes even better. We're excited to reveal the exclusive digital comic that will be available for everyone who buys the game on GOG.COM.

Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams is a 50-page digital comic about TASHA and MIREK, two scavengers living in Night City. They’re stealing cyberware and spending money on parties and braindances.

TASHA is the loud one, she needs constant changes around her to breathe and she wants more street cred to become the most famous gangster in the city. MIREK is the calm one, he likes what he has and he doesn’t need much but he knows that Night City kills anyone who believes in the status quo.

You run, you fight, you change or you’ll die… One day MIREK finds a braindance about a happy family and sees a chance for himself. The problem is, MIREK’s dream doesn’t compute with TASHA’s dream of becoming a famous gangster…

This unique story set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 comes from talented artists that include:

Bartosz Sztybor (Script)
Narrative Manager at CD PROJEKT RED, writer of comics for Dark Horse Comics, Boom! Studios, Paquet, Sarbacane, and Ankama.

Filipe Andrade (Art)
Comic book artist who worked on “Old Man Logan”, “Rocket Raccoon & Groot”, “Captain Marvel” and “Doctor Strange” for Marvel Comics.

Alessio Fioriniello (Art)
Comic book artist working mainly in the Italian market where Panini Comics published his “Paris Fashion Slam”.

Roman Titov (Colors)
Comic book artist and colorist. He worked on the “Angel” series for Boom! Studios.

Krzysztof Ostrowski (Colors)
Comic book artist and colorist working mainly in the Polish market.

Aditya Bidikar (Letters)
Comic book letterer. His most famous works include “Isola”, “These Savage Shores”, “Motor Crush”. “John Constantine: Hellblazer” and “Little Bird”.

Matías Bergara (Cover art)
Comic book illustrator and cover artist. He illustrated “Sons of Anarchy”, “Cannibal”, “Coda” and “John Constantine: Hellblazer”. He got his first Eisner nomination as Best Artist for “Coda”.

Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams exclusive digital comic will be available on November 19th for every GOG.COM user who pre-ordered the game or buys it after the launch.

Zoidberg: MEH!

theslitherydeee: Agreed. It's not terrible, not great. I don't like when the story for a game is spread out into other types of media.
I was talking about the whole game. Multi platform is nice, but for something that interests me for starters. :P

robertlkersey: The game is made by CDProjectRed (aka GOG).
Technically, they're brother and sister (GOG is known internally as CD Projekt Blue, or at least was). Both are under the umbrella of their father CD Projekt (Group).

robertlkersey: Pre-load is the 18th, says it right in your library.
I'm not on the North American continent. I am in Europe. We get the download at the same time. For me it's on 19th, for you it's still 18th. Time zones, man.

emter_pl: It will be included because you get a GOG key with boxed PC editions.
It's great to know that those GoG keys will include this bonus as well. I'm happy with that. Thanks!

McMicroDonalds: There's no mention of Stadia in this announcement.
It was announced in general. See: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2020/10/cyberpunk-2077-confirmed-for-stadia-on-november-19
Hype! Hype!! Hype!!! This is sooo freaking n_nice, hope this Cyberpunk2077 comic will be released on paper too, like The Witcher comic its currently being released here on Mexico :D

GeraltOfRivia_PL: That way you could just preorder it on GOG, read the comic, refund it, then play the game on Steam. They are smart and they know people are sly dogs with no consience.
avatar
frogthroat: Didn't think of that. Yeah, you're right. And if they released it now to pre-order people, it would be posted in different sites and torrents in a matter of minutes.

Well, there's no pre-load info about the game so it might be we can't start the download on, say, 17th. And if I can only start the download on 19th, I hope I can download the comic book separately and read it while the game downloads. So maybe this is actually a good thing.
If it's like other goodies GOG has posted in the past for other games (I'm assuming it is but have no information to confirm that) then you should be able to download the comic first via the gamepage in your account and then start the download for the game itself after that.

It's what I'm hoping for at least, because it'd be nice to read it before playing the game :)

McMicroDonalds: I'm not a fan of exclusives in an capacity, but this might bring GOG to people people's attention.

shmerl: So, CP2077 is coming to Stadia on day one. Release it for proper desktop Linux please too! After going through all that trouble of adding the Vulkan renderer for Stadia and making it work on Linux anyway for it, not releasing it for desktop Linux users is just a shame.

Stadia was confirmed in the last Night City Wire installment.

And while I don't play on Linux at present myself, still fingures crossed that it'll release there too.
I know it's work to get a game running stable and proper on multiple hardware configurations and software platforms but whenever possible I like people to have the choice of how and where they play. Part of what got me into DRM free gaming to begin with and away from the likes of steam, epic, sony, et al

I do agree with you, but personally I really dislike Linux. Not just the software but the people behind it as well.

RadonGOG: So it´s not included in the GOG-key you´ll get in the boxed edition and collectors editon?

Let's hope so. I already took holidays from 20th until 27th for this and of course my fingers are going to be itching from the moment I click Install in Galaxy 2. This comic book might be just the thing while I wait for the game to download.
Where do I redeem this comic?
Is this tied to Galaxy in any way?
Well, it is not working.. I redeemed the comics, I can see it (sometimes) listed in my Games, but when I open it, there's just gray window.
I signed up for GOG just because of this exclusive, so I do not know where to f** should I get my comics?!
