It's not that bad, there's a limit, we can't buy more than the about 3 thousand games that GOG currently offers.

I'd love to have this problem. However, there are not many games left that interest me. It's been some time since I dropped money here.

Symphony8: I'm man enough to admit that I need this.
"Hello, my name is Symphony8 and I ... buy games ..."

bler144: There was a thread a year or two back that was essentially a "buy no more games" support group for resisting impulse purchases and sales. Too lazy to search for the link, however.

Sure we can. We can buy them multiple times as gifts and then hoard gift codes! Help-Line Litigation?

That's what I do, I like to backup my games. Two extra keys for each one, better safe than sorry, if I ever lose a game I'll be able to restore it by resorting to its backup code!

Is there a help group for GoG addicts?
At least two very effective measures come immediately to my mind. ...
Is there a help group for GoG addicts?
- Turn off the setting that enables sending you these emails.
- Give your spouse power over your credit card, so that you cannot just buy anything you want.

73vwtodd: I bring my lunch to work, I've sold off all my video games, and I drive a car that's 15 years old. I'm trying to save up to pay off my mortgage, put money into my daughter's 529, save for retirement, and save so I can pay cash for my next car.
No problem, I´ll help you. 1. Forget lunch. Try DUST It doesn´t get cheaper than that.
2. Who needs video games, when you have gog? You made the right decision.
3. The car is not the problem. It´s the fuel for the car. Try the Flintstone drive.
4. Nothing easier than paying off the mortgage: https://youtu.be/8wGD84j0_t8
5. Well... no jokes about college plans. That´s serious matter.
6. Retirement? What retirement? https://youtu.be/2eXU2p982GQ
7. You need a new car? Make sure to negotiate like a pro.
Heed my advice and you can buy all the games you want.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the support. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in this.
Haha... I don't really have a problem, per-se.... to be honest, I rarely have time to even play them. But I still buy them with the assumption that at one point, I want to. And... let's be honest... for under $2 bucks, a game that I know and love (and probably already own on CD), how can you go wrong?
My $2 bucks usually comes with the clue book, a perfectly configured DOSBOX, and I know it works.
I've been really impressed, it's like GOG was made for me... I look forward to that propaganda e-mail they send me every day, like a drug addict waits for his next high.
