I don't think it's somehow related to CDP announcements, but for sure we always got some big sale in March, as far as the history shows. For some non-obvious reason it's rather second part of March.

GOG hinted that the Konami games would be going on sale this week, potentially related to the upcoming bigger sale, but then again it could just be a special or weekend sale:

The count should be updated, but in October 2020 it looked not-so-weird:

– 25 sales started on Monday
– 9 on Tuesday
– 11 on Wednesday
– 11 on Thursday
– 6 started on Friday
– 0 started on Saturday or Sunday
