In November 2024, GOG launched a brand new initiative: the GOG Preservation Program. This unique project represents our long-term commitment to ensuring that classic games remain playable on modern and future systems. Currently, the Program includes over 100 titles, with a goal of expanding to 500 games by the end of 2025, and ultimately, to encompass our entire catalog of classic games — already numbering in the thousands.

the GOG Preservation Program is our commitment to preserving gaming history. Through the Program, players can trust that their games will always be up to date and ready to run on current and future PC setups. Whether it’s manuals, DLCs, or missing features, we’re offering the most complete version possible, backed by GOG’s tech support and offline installers, so you can safeguard these classics for years to come.

Today, we couldn’t be happier to welcome the newest additions to our Program – a great variety of LEGO® franchise titles, including both new releases and games already released on GOG. Let’s see what’s new!

the GOG Preservation Program – and this time, we’re including legendary LEGO® titles on our mission of keeping classic games playable.

Alongside this update, we’re thrilled to announce that The LEGO® Movie - Videogame (-80%), The LEGO® Movie 2 Videogame (-85%), LEGO® City Undercover (-80%), and The LEGO® NINJAGO® Video Game (-80%) are making their debut on GOG – DRM-free and optimized for modern systems! They’re also arriving with amazing bundles: LEGO Movie Videogame Bundle (-85%) and LEGO® Movies Game Bundle (-85%).

Meanwhile, a variety of classic LEGO® games already on GOG are officially joining the Preservation Program, ensuring they stay accessible for years to come. Here’s what’s joining:

LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game (-75%)
LEGO® Indiana Jones™: The Original Adventures (-75%)
LEGO® Indiana Jones™ 2: The Adventure Continues (-75%)
LEGO® Batman™: The Videogame (-85%)
LEGO® Batman 2 DC Super Heroes™ (-80%)
LEGO® Batman™ 3: Beyond Gotham (-75%)
LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™ (-80%)

LEGO® games aren’t just fun – they're timeless. Generations of players have built memories with these creative, action-packed adventures, making them a crucial part of gaming history.

But the journey doesn’t end here! Want to see even more LEGO® classics on GOG? Titles like LEGO Island, LEGO Rock Raiders, or LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga could become reality with your help. Head over to the GOG Dreamlist and vote for your favorites – it’s the best way to show publishers that these games deserve a place in the GOG catalog!

Brick by brick, let’s make these games live forever – now on GOG!
This is amazing

please get Lego Jurassic World next, pretty please
Nice! Hoping LEGO® Star Wars™ - The Complete Saga joins the GOG Preservation Program too!

XYCat: which are the best lego games?
They're all good but undercover's my favourite.

Memecchi: I've always wanted to try Lego City Undercover, it's apparently a pretty competent GTA-clone
It is a really decent game, well worth it at this price.

I was waiting for LEGO City Undercover here for a long time. Patience worth.
I instabought so fast that I didn't even notice bundles. Nvm, bring us more! I'm absolutely desperate to get LEGO Jurassic World DRM free one day. :)

BTW. Are you reading my mind? Yesterday I was thinking about how bad LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean runs on modern machines and here we go - preservation program with fixes and tweaks! Now please preserve Crysis and Crysis Warhead the same way!
Thank you GOG, WB Interactive and TT for more LEGO games!

As the LEGO games are part of the GOG Preservation Program, GOG could think about including the character mods for the console exclusive character DLCs (e.g. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Batman 2 all have character DLCs), at least if there is a legal and technical possibility.

Appearently those character DLCs are usually easily moddable into the PC versions.

Including those character packs would truly make the GOG versions of the LEGO game the best version.

The Movies Game Bundle (-85%) is what's listed in this post, but the bundle store page lists the discount as 75%. Just wanted to point that out. This is using the link provided on this page also.

The LEGO Movie Videogame Bundle (-85%) store page does show the same 85% discount.
.
Edit:

For the 2nd bundle, was it supposed to be these 2 games? LEGO® City Undercover and The LEGO® NINJAGO® Video Game instead of The LEGO® Movie - Videogame and The LEGO® NINJAGO® Video Game.

I only ask cause it seemed odd to use the one of the two games in the 1st bundle, to the 2nd 2 game bundle. I just thought the 2nd bundle would be more like LEGO® City Undercover and The LEGO® NINJAGO® Video Game.

Anyway, big thanks to GOG for their efforts and the LEGO publishers for allowing the release of these games here. :)

Same here. It does not seem to make much sense to make a bundle of these two with the first being in another bundle as well and undercover not being in a bundle at all ...

Edit: Apparently this seems to be correct ... it is the same on that other platform.

Yes, please fix Lego Pirates of the Caribbean!
We were stuck on the level A Touch of Destiny. Mr Gibbs for some reason couldn't fix things with his hammer like he used to do on the previous levels.
I take it that Lego island Lego Rock raiders and Lego star wars the Skywalker Saga is in fact got a high chance of coming here if not already in the pipeline .. After all why else mention them?

Anyway I hope LEGO Jurassic World

Lego Marvel Marvel Superheroes 1

Lego Marvel Superheroes 2

Lego Marvel's Avengers

Lego Star wars the Force Awakens

Lego The Incredibles

All show up sonner rather then later

I hear the Lego Harry potter Collection that released on pc elsewhere has the the Character Pack and Spell Pack baked in so odds are I'd say best to try getting that collection showing up here rather then the dlc packs that was never put on pc for the o.g releases be modded in
