By the same logic, why wouldn't mafia!FrostburnPoenix discuss his ideas/theory about role-madness with his buddies (during D1 if the have day-chat, else N1) instead of commenting on it in-thread and spilling that all of them have PRs in the process, only to quickly try to take it back with a measly "I misread"?


Why would they make a terrible D1 lunch if they were caught mafia? And why would the newbie protection be a factor in that case?

Oh, I see now. Maxleod has been substituted by Ambiti0nZ rather than Ambiti0nZ joining in surprisingly on a game that was already considered full? I haven't followed the sign-up closely so this bit eluded me. Effectively Ambiti0nZ's participation shouldn't have changed anything and ZFR's theory doesn't really hold water. Still, the fact that he went out of his way to form it should be saying something. I'm not sure it's automatically AI but I can't see what purpose it would serve for scum!ZFR.


@Ambiti0nZ, would you mind if I call you AZ from now on? I don't want to botch your name but I'll definitely forget how you spell it eventually and I am too lazy to look it up every time.

I guess. I still find it more likely that a Mafioso would make a public slip post about something that relates to the state of the whole game, than making such a public post having found one particular player with a PR. But you have a point.


If they were 100% confirmed Mafioso, then sure, I'd lynch them newbie protection or not. But given the current situation of a claimed PR they would make a terrible lynch today. If Frost is Town, Mafia will have to do something about him at Night, or risk his PR interfering with them. If he's Mafia, the longer he survives the more difficult it will be for him not to be sus (e.g. if he claims an investigative role, he'd have to create fake results). Regardless, we're much better off leaving him off the lynch toDay and see what happens Tomorrow or the Day after.

Seriouly, can you clarify what conflict you see? I've repeated this 3 times already. it's getting annoying.

Post #105 and post #128 seem to give different reasons for questioning me. Rereading it, there might not have been a conflict, but I pressed the matter because you seemed to be avoiding it.

Don't be mad at Ambiti0nZ! He was just being nice and talking to me while everyone else was having what looked like a private conversation. I haven't understood most of what's been said here, and I'm fine with letting people talk around me if they're having a private conversation.

Only late yesterday, did someone give me a link to all the acronyms being used. Until then I didn't know if PR meant Puerto Rico, Press Release, Public Relations, Parental Responsibility, Public Radio, Punk Rock or something else. (I'm totally serious.) So every time I saw PR, I just assumed it was some private conversation.
