dohhh, sorry, been collapsing in a heap when I've got home from work the past few days

I see it's deadline and trent's at L-2 and his post 232 is pretty stinky but then even as I write this I'm wondering if it is too stinky to be calculated and maybe numbers are just the flag to town-trent's bull, or if the team is zfr and trent and their distancing got out of hand? no, that can't be surely.

korotan is voting for trent which interests me

dedoporno: Technically nothing, but if you are Town you don't really have a way of knowing that I am Town so you'd be giving someone who you don't know Town credit where it isn't due and that's a poor Town play. On the other hand, if you do know I'm Town (which would inherently mean you're scum) you might be trying to get on my good side by giving me that Town credit so I can feel better about you. Which is not happening (I still love you, though XOXO).

Either way I'd prefer you wouldn't put much or even any weight on that particular bit.

bucktoothgamer: Yes, voting NL was a dumb move on my part as I spent the beginning of the game against it. Even when voting for it, my only motivation for that was in the faint hope of that it happening would get people to stop making it the forefront of the discussion.

Yes, I don't like credit given where it's not due or, similarly, taken away for bad reasons. This is prone to errors and if you're Town your errors extend to others including myself. Alternatively, if it's not an error it might be buddying which is also not something I like happening.

dedoporno: That's what it was? Yeah, I wouldn't put too much weight on that if I were you. Like everyone else I'm prone to making mistakes and sometimes not seeing obvious things so this shouldn't be taken as alignment indicative in my opinion.
doesn't read like you're trying to get me to improve my general game or get wise to my possible buddying

Should I've just taken a silly (and I kind of want to use a stronger word here but I'm sticking to "silly" because you're still bae regardless) "clear" when I think it's wrong on various levels? From my perspective I've made the game easier for you. Assuming you're Town, if I were in your shoes I'd actually become more suspicious of someone who would just accept such type of "clear" as that can only benefit scum (on either side).

I can understand you wanting to point out that my reasoning was not perfect. Forsooth I had acknowledged that myself already.

But it doesn't sound like you're telling me "you're right, but for the wrong reasons", it sounds like you're just telling me "you're wrong."

First of all I don't know if you're Town. And if you are in fact Town you're reasoning is bad and I don't like that so I said that you shouldn't make your read based on that bit in particular alone because you also don't know if I'm Town. I'm not sure how more clear to explain it.

well I don't understand town's reason to do it at all. I see how scum might decide to do it thinking it will make them look town

but anyway. It's been fun but I think I'm making a lot out of a little and, possibly purely because I think you're telling me not to, I'm going to continue to town read dedo.

Actually this is the way to explain it better. This is exactly what I have in mind in the situation where you're Town. But the more important part is that it's not only a wrong reason but a bad one.

trentonlf: Sure, you got me. I always push for the easiest lynch, I am a weak player who doesn't know how to play any different. I mean look how often in the past I've suspected you and pushed for your lynch passed solely on you being an easy target, I should be ashamed of myself.
Well, this could be trent's usual cynicism or reaction to a suspicion percieved as unfair. Or it might be an appeal to emotion. Or both. Trent prides himself on playing the same as scum and town and mostly he does.

Bucktooth's response that he'd rather be lynched himself that lynch the wrong target could be show as well. So he could be scum. But somehow he feels rather genuine than not. So I'll back up for now.

Especially since I don't see anyone but trent becoming the lynch in the limited time we have. Also it's weekend. So, for my last post Today, I'll cast my vote.
