In the Harry potter game, where the OP stated that slytherin=mafia, Yogsloth came in and his first post was "Hi, I'm goyle from slytherin, now I'm going to read the rules." He got away with it because it was during RVS (the joke-for-want-of-anything-else-to-do stage) and because it fit his personality. Yogs turned up scum.

As to the voter's intention in this case, I do not know. I could see it as any of a) annoyed, b) serious or c) meme-ing.

The reason i am suspicious of the 3rd seat is that meta play says the middle seats are going to be filled with mafia.
Reasoning: Mafia want to miss-lunch any non-mafia. They will stick out if they are the hammer, or even the L-1 vote. They waste(?) their vote starting a wagon that no-one else agrees with. Thus, they tend to hop on the middle of a wagon to avoid scrutiny and to go with the flow/have a valid defense. Since their goal is to live while eliminating others, they don't want to have too much scrutiny placed on themselves, and middle of a wagon means they weren't the only ones who saw something fishy. Ofc, mafia know this reasoning and will also avoid sitting in the middle seats to avoid scrutiny. xD

What scene's reasoning is, i cannot say, and am interested in it.

In agent's defense, when he wrote it Joe's rules weren't posted yet. I made the OP for Joe since he couldn't start new threads, and I just wrote basic ones without flavour.

Also, what broke the game wasn't this mistake but the second blunder he made: when he claimed that roles got reshuffled later, and that initially he was scum with trent.

I agree though that these kind of jokes stop being funny after a while. They're nice for a chuckle the first time they were made, but then they got carried way too far.

No, there are more like I mentioned already. Everyone who act oddly is suspicious for me. The meaning of "oddity" is subjective, human error is one of the many possibilities. Pooka is experienced and intelligent player so his statement about not seeing other possibilities is very odd for me, maybe not for you or anyone else. I'm not waiting for anything, I just collect my personal list of oddities and mistakes, make the links, do research. I don't want to put all my thoughts right away before others post more, because otherwise they may hide their true intentions.

Ah, I misunderstood and was afraid that you'd been offended IRL by something and weren't going to continue playing this game. I was asking that, even if you felt you had to drop out of this game due to some offense, that you would still play in future games of mafia.
