Theoretically, yes, but that's uhhh... unlikely. I can see no reason for Ixamyakxim to do his darnedest to kill muddysneakers if they're both Scum.

I could answer this a bunch of different ways that would all be true.

1) I'd pretty much settled which way I was going, but I had one last question of P1na before deciding. By the time I came back in the morning, he was already hammered, so...I mean, i could have fake voted for solidarity, I suppose. He went from L-2 to lynch in the time I was gone, so not much I can do about that.

2) I don't know why flub didn't move, but me unvoting you moved things towards the final result despite P1na's flight of fancy - thus my comment that you should stop freaking out. cristi's dabbling in lyncher-Ix I confess I didn't expect, but note cristi's line in her vote post "I actually want to vote agent, but no time to pursue that."

Tactically that's the heart of the matter - as long as town doesn't collectively freak out and fire drill (refer to my earlier comments on fire drills), at some point the reality is you're down to 1 or 2 choices, and here those choices were clearly believe P1na, or believe Ix, and P1na looked good and Ix was coming apart quickly. So not really much of a choice and both P1na and cristi came back to that reality in the end.

You were not likely to fly from L-3 to hammer in a mad rush, and there was no other viable wagon at all. It's not magic. So practically speaking I didn't think my voting or not voting would change the predicted outcome either way. And voila.

3) Taking someone to L-1 isn't to be done lightly that far before deadline. If they're town (even if in this case that seemed unlikely in the moment) you're inviting a hammer. Likewise, if they're maf and they know what they're doing, taking them to L-1 means they can self-hammer and cut the conversation short before town is ready to call it a day. I have no idea if Ix would've have known to do that or been so inclined, but it's always possible.

SPF's flip I think takes some of the value out of what happened down the stretch, but it can sometimes be valuable. And in P1na's case, given that he was the almost certain NK, it gave him a chance to actually play in the game without the tension hanging on him. So, if I were doing it all over, I'd do the same thing. And again, Ix was pretty clearly going down in the final stretch whether with 4 votes or 5.

There are cases where town will rush through a lynch (for better or worse) but generally there's a consensus as to when to call it a day.

4) If I were maf, I certainly could have voted on him for Bonus Town Points!!! precisely because the writing was on the wall. Though certainly that would play differently with you than it would with, say, flubbucket who's apparently not even town clearing you. lulz

No offense, but your conversation with SPF (who was working you over pretty good, it seems) suggests you skew towards people who agree with you and away from people who disagree. Note that you seem to have taken cristi's vote at face value.

Though I would agree that agent is the most interesting voter ON the wagon.

Also, your immediate response to the claim (#521) seems to have been to accept it ("So this confirms cristigale as Town and muddysneakers as not Town (possibly Neutral, possibly Scum)."), assume muddy was neutral, and conclude P1na/SPF were maf. And vote P1na.

I must have missed it. Also, regarding cristi I'm not ruling her out but there would have to be some serious reveals for me to vote her toDay.

Do you think there is also a neutral survivor here or just lyncher? I am no longer of the opinion that there was a 3 mafia team but I suppose it is still possible.

Personally I'd be surprised if there's not 3, esp with lyncher targeting maf.

But D3 I was saying there likely wasn't a lyncher in the game, so.... I may not be the best person to ask what Lift is doing with this setup.

Either way, like any other day it's a matter of figuring out who we each think is most likely and going from there.

I'm still not seeing MY contradiction.

Sarah Good's corpse has been taken down from the oak and has been burned, for good measure. You can never be too cautious with those witches! But inside the town hall, some kind of fatigue seems to have crept into the souls of the few women still trapped here. While outside the sun is shining and some kids are playing under the village oak. There are a few meek attempts at discussing. But having lost three of their number in one Night, seems to have dampened their drive. No one dares yet to raise any new accusations.

When he first claimed, I acted as if he was speaking truthfully, but that doesn't mean I trusted him totally. Once his veracity was brought into question, I moved to maximize the likelihood of hitting Scum.

What else is making you lean towards agent here?

Also if you are thinking 3 mafia team we're in LYLO here then. Also if 3 mafia team any single town vote on a non-mafia player could be game ending if the two remaining mafia members see it and also vote that player.
