The topic of the end of day time came up last night, which I'd like us to discuss. The end of the current night phase is set for 22:30 UTC (which wasn't formatted correctly when I posted it), but I'm wondering what would be a more suitable time for end of day. As it stands I've pushed it forwards by an hour and a half, but I'm essentially wondering how far forwards I can move it - if it's too late, that impacts on European players, but if it's too early then our American players will be at work.

Not sure if Bookwyrm still needs me as a temporary replacement, I was away at a concert yesterday and haven't been keeping up and you guys have posted loads.
Just reading up now to get up to date in case I'm still needed.

This time was a little late but for me it was manageable. A couple of hours earlier would suit me fine.

It's our fault too, we're not forced wait until the deadline has just gone to end the day: we can get our goat together earlier.

Yeah, as I said yesterday, the deadline was a little too late for my taste but I also understand I am not the only one and you have to find the solution that is best for you and most of the players.
22:30 (0:30 here) would be certainly much better for me, although not optimal but given others I think it is close to optimal so no complaints from me.

Correct. Assuming D3 doesn't start until at least next Friday, then I'll pick up from daybreak on Day 3. If D3 starts earlier, then I'll let you and Poppy work out whether you'll continue or if my slot can just go silent until I get back. I probably won't be able to reasonably post until at least Saturday.

oh just to let everybody know, I probably won't be able to join in the game until saturday (tomorrow it's our end-of-term do. We have speeches starting at 11:00 which I think is just before the day's due to start? Then we'll be heading out so I doubt I'll get a chance to get to a computer. Sorry! If I see a chance to sneak away for half an hour I will. Assuming I'm still in the game obvs.

Yes. An earlier deadline would suit me well as well. I had to go to bed, because work unfortunately takes preference over play (sorry!). It would be nice if we could find a deadline where everyone actually can be present. Difficult in a global world, I know. But 1:30 h earlier would already solve the problem for me.
