BKGaming: Nah GOG forms CD Projekt Blue and get's butch of really awesome (but smaller) exclusive games. CD Projekt Red continues making the big AAA games. :P
PaterAlf: First project will hopefully be "Witcher - The Roguelike". I'm still waiting for that. ;)
To be honest, if CDP was to spin off a new game division that was meant to create games specifically for GOG... I would rather they work on new IP's that are separate from CDPR. Especially IP's that have already released on other platforms which already have a following on those platforms (ie the Witcher)
In my opinion, lack of new exclusives is holding GOG back more than anything. DRM and timed exclusives of old games will always be a niche area. Nobody uses Origin because they like Origin, they use it because it contains games you can only play on Origin. Cyberpunk 2077, honestly should be GOG exclusive, but I think they have already stated it won't only be on GOG.
The next best thing would be to spin off a smaller studio and publish the games under GOG, like a few other games here.
GOG needs it's own Dota 2, Fortnight, CS:GO, etc. that draws in people. It could mean the difference between GOG having a few hundred thousand active users to a few million. Once you have attracted someone enough to create an account and buy a game, you have lowered the bar of entry significantly and made it more likely they will purchase other games on GOG.
I know some people don't like Store specific exclusives, but it's the only way GOG will truly grow. People that don't care about DRM or old games have zero reason to use GOG, and that is a significant amount of gamers.

vv221: Hey, I would *love* to see this!
Me too. I was 100% serious with that post, I hope it happens and I think it is needed more than anything else. :)
