I can't help feeling that GOG is ignoring many of the classic games that require patching, such as King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Quest For Glory, etc. I hope I'm not just speaking for myself, but I often have issues with these games that are mostly ignored by the development team. For example, whenever I switch between the inventory (TAB) and back to the game, I get a random glitch. I have sent GOG requests to fix issues like this, but nothing ever seems to get done. These games also have issues showing their icons on Galaxy ... minor problem, but still annoying. Is anyone else having issues like this?

Gog team don't have access to the game source code, so they are limited, for old games, to tweaking Dosbox and/or ScummVM, so they are limited to what those tools can and cannot do.

Most of the time the only thing they can do is wait for a new version of said tools to be released and how it might correct the glitches peoples might have.
If there are official patches fixing those issues and they aren't applied, then if you raise awareness, GOG will find a way usually to apply them. For unofficial patches your best bet is to ask around the game specific forums.
