mrkgnao: Here is a suggested alternative banner, which I believe is much more accurate:

"Story and bonus missions can be played offline, but only with the default loadout."

Starmaker: I suspect this might be not strong enough. It is quite possible that unlocking perks and changing the loadout is the intended way to progress through the story missions, and the average player is not expected to succeed at some of them with the default loadout and thus will not be able to "complete" the story either.
Thank you. Added a few more words.

No not really, you can complete the game easily without any unlockable. Also something that some peoples seems to mistake is that default loadout doesn't mean it's the "only" loadout and that you won't be able to use anything else.

It only impact what you are starting with, you can still get plenty of weapons, disguise, and gadget in the map itself, also the game is not very hard, it's a lot easier than most of the old ones, you can easily get detected kill half the map gun blazing and still survive and complete the mission. Heck I remember watching video of peoples killing everybody on some map using only a frying pan.

Fair enough. Removed the extra words. Thanks.

Others things to do: fix all the missing updates for other games using offline installers, force Volition to patch SR3 remaster and finally, start to actually engage with the forum.
One more thing GOG ought to do: bring back OST, wallpapers and other goodies like you used to. There are way too many games missing their OSTs even though they're sold on Steam.

From what I observed about missing OSTs, when there's an explanation about why it's missing, it seems to usually involve the composer not wanting the OST here, even if the rest of the dev team wants it.
Still, it'd be nice to have more content parity.

6 days since its release and GOG continues to sell this Norwegian Blue as if it were just pining for the fjords.

Fun fact: +47 is the telephone country code for Norway.
