IMASHERIFF: I received this message last night, this morning i had reinstalled GOG Galaxy and after functioning for 2 hours this message appeared again. Also access is restricted to certain .EXE (Shown in untitled1.jpg) even though the account which is active happens to be the Local Admin. During re-installation after a successful uninstall the process fails because there are remnants of the program which cannot be written over nor can they be deleted as this account is not permitted too.

skeletonbow: Ok, not sure about that then. Might want to check the GOG GALAXY BETA thread and search through it for similar reports in case there are any. If that doesn't find something you could try contacting GOG support though.

IMASHERIFF: Through the GOG Galaxy beta thread Liosan of the GOG Team stated: "We are aware of the issue - the last update introduced a bug where Galaxy won't start if there's connection issues at startup. Will be fixed in next release.
A workaround we can offer right now is turning off your internet connection if you are experiencing this issue. The problem only happens if the connection gets disrupted right at the start of the update process; if there's no connection at all, it should be fine :)". Regarding inaccessible files and executables, software was required to remove them as i was unable to claim ownership. With information from Liosan portions of this thread have become redundant, can it be removed?

skeletonbow: Threads are not generally removable, but you can flag a reply as an answer, and potentially have a thread locked when it's fulfilled its purpose etc. Normally though it's just best to leave them as is and they get buried in a day or so.
