so im playing witcher 3, and im connected to the net,
nothing is running no aps just the galaxy and the game and drivers etc os
network is working, net is working
but randomly the gog galaxy says CONNECT NOW and i missed a few achievements as this happened and its upsetting!

im not sure where to post this, there seems to be no support ticket option for gog galaxy vs just games

but im confused why this is going on or if its just an overflow or flood to the servers for dling patches etc

please let me know if anyone knows why this might be going on

no router, no wireless, net working but galaxy doesnt randomly connect (or it disconnects when im playing)
hitting CONNECT does NOTHING

Having a similar problem, GOG client connects then a few seconds later looses connection and does so in an endless cycle, it has been added to all of the firewall and antivirus exceptions so there shouldn't be anything on my end that prevents it from staying connected, i haven't actually been able to patch or keep track of The Witcher 3 achievements through the client :(

I am going to stop playing Witcher 3 until this gets sorted and go back to playing my Steam games. Its starting to make me wishthat I hadpurchasd Witcher 3 on Steam now as at least I know achievemnents and game time would all be recorded. Nothing I did yesterday on Witcher 3 was recorded. So until this is fixed its back to Steam for me
same problem for me also. When I select Withcer 3 from my library, it shows 'CONNECT NOW' button, but when I click it nothing happens. I cant download the latest DLC due to this. GOG team didn't update anything about this issue or its solution.

There still having server issues, been like this since Friday. Likely due to Witcher 3 patch. Probably won't be fixed until tomorrow seeing as it the weekend and most of GOG staff probably are not there.

Aha! Thank you for the information :)

This was the second time I used GOG Galaxy to install games, so I didn't know the issue was happening only temporarily.
I'm constantly having this problem too while playing Witcher 3.

When I launch the GOG client I usually have to "connect now", then I start the game and while playing GoG always ends up disconnecting several times so I miss out on it keeping track of achievements and time played until I "connect now" again.

Not a big deal but it's kind of annoying. It says I've only spent 170 hours so far when in reality it's close to 250. :(

Still on my 1st play-through being very thorough lol. Excellent game.

It would be very helpful for us, if you could go to http://mantis.gog.com add a ticket and attach your logs (instruction how to do this are posted there). This looks like some connectivity issue with our backend systems.
I posted the error and description with all logs in a zip file for you guys on the site as requested. My ticket number there is 0003714. You can give me some free games for my time ;)

btw.... a auto reconnect option in settings would have been a nice way to counter this annoyance :)

I've checked your mantis issue, and looked at the logs you've uploaded. But the logs.zip file you attached is missing the most importan log file that should be called "GalaxyClient.log". Is this file missing in your logs folder?
