my head has been pounding for like 3 days, I may have over looked it.

Galaxy has installed my games fine, but I want to get each game instaler file and back up to a disk.

Galaxy has backup option , but im just not understanding how to do this.

I know i can go online and download it, but i was thinking it should already be downloaded somewhere right?

I don't use the thing, but I think it's under More or Extra or something.
No idea where it downloads to though, you can probably configure it under Settings somewhere.
I prefer using GOGRepo.

Backups have to be downloaded separately which gives a standalone installer like you get on the site. There is no actual backup feature in Galaxy... yet. Galaxy then downloads the standalone installer to the directory specified. Before 1.2 the default was Program Files(x86) -> GOG Galaxy -> Games -> !Downloads

Now with 1.2 (which is in preview) this has changed to the installation directory of the game. There is a new !Downloads folder in each game where that games backup and extra's (like manuals) get downloaded too.

The backup option is a simple as going to the game's page -> click MORE -> Backup & goodies -> Click the backup copy to download.
