Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

TheParasite: Damn that must be it. I changed the client install to E:\\GalaxyClient\ and the game directory is E:\\Galaxy Client\Games\. I tend to try and limit my game portals (steam, origin, etc.) to their own directories and have never had any issues and didn't think Galaxy would have an issue.

This seems like a major oversight; if the client nukes anything in it on updates, it should not allow or at least prompt you to install games elsewhere. I imagine the vast majority of users will never have this issue by using the default install settings but I'm glad GOG is now aware and thank you for letting me know that I need to separate my client and games to use Galaxy.

skeletonbow: For now that's best, but it's a bad idea both to put things in the private folder of something, but equally if not worse for something to blindly delete a dir it created recursively instead of just deleting the actual files from a manifest. That's just a bit of an oversight though it seems albeit an unfortunate one, but the good side is they mentioned they plan on fixing it to not be overzealous like that which is the right thing to do ultimately because right or wrong, other customers are almost certainly sure to do the same thing since there have been at least 2 if not more just in the forums here who have done that in less than a week. Customer is always right, right? :) Hopefully they fix that in the next build so others don't get their games blown away though. Data loss is always the worst type of software bug, even if it is just video game config files or savegames etc. :)

gringlas: That would be nice. :)

skeletonbow: Ok, I tested it with Dungeon Keeper so far, and after exiting the game the first time it registered around 21 minutes. I exited and restarted Galaxy and then the game a while later, loaded my savegame and continued for a while. Exited and Galaxy did not immediately register my game time even after a reload so I thought I reproduced your bug but then I left it for a while and played a Steam game. I came back later and Galaxy had updated the time on Dungeon Keeper correctly so there could just be a timing issue perhaps. More testing tomorrow.
There is defiantly a delay in the timer, I've noticed it takes a good bit of time to update.
I hope that the download speed will be improved in this program the GOG downloader downloads games faster GOG Galaxy was downloading games at 0.1 kb a sec
I like the new 'tag' system, but it only shows 4 tags to choose from regardless if I add new tags. If I add tags, the older tags are not listed and I can't find any option to list all tags to choose from.

edit: you can scroll apparantly (hard to notice with the scrolling bug)

Also I cant tag the games on the bottom of the list because the 3rd and 4th tag name is out of the screen.

nvm it can be done by scroling over the tag list. this is a bit clunky.

I have problem downloading using the gog galaxy. Most download stop at the last part (like about 0.5 MB left) but some can download successfully. Probably problem with CDN that Gog galaxy use and my ISP. Normally I use opendns which connect to different CDN servers to download from. I tried also the ISP dns which supposed to allow download from the best CDN servers but still same problem.

Workaround is to use VPN service like vpnbook to download. I think I used to have the same problem with gog downloader but a few version back but since gog downloaded can pause and resume, I can do that to force it to complete. Latest version of gog downloader doesn't have the same problem so hopefully once gog galaxy implement pause and resume, it'll be able to keep retrying that last 0.5 MB.
For something supposedly optional you sure are pushing galaxy. When I click on a game in the new my account area, I'm presented with a big button saying "Try GOG Galaxy" instead of download and you're fazing out the gog downloader. I have to go to more to actually get my downloads which could be argued is semi hidden.

Gog's galaxy statement should read

"You don't have to use gog galaxy, it's entirely optional but we'll push it at you, and pester you about it at every opportunity we can."
Could you please "fix" the chat in Galaxy? Galaxy only allows to chat with friends and doesn't stop flashing when you get a new message from a not-friend on GOG website oO

Just had a test on my Macbook again.
SimCity 2000 tool some time to update the play time.
Little Big Adveture updated as soon, as I quit.
Desperados: Wanted Alive or Dead downloads are in russian, although Galaxy itself is in english.
EDIT: But it seems that it's still downloaded in english... interesting.

Mine still says coming soon for Game Time Tracking, though I am on the Windows version 1.0.0.871. I hope they get that working soon. I am also really liking the client so far, and think it is only going to get better as more features are added.

Edit: It appears that the time tracking is working now, though under the Setttings / Features it still says coming soon.

As for GameTimeTracking, you can't turn it off right now. That's what coming soon means.

I installed The Witcher 2 using the GOG Galaxy client and for some reason got the Australian version of the game. I knew this, because I could not romance the Succubus in Act II ( Don't judge pls :P) To fix the problem I just reinstalled the game from the GOG website. I just wanted to let you know, because I'm worried I will get a Australian version of my games and I'm in Europe. :) No censorship pls ;-;
