jimmywon34: will the new 2.0 version of GOG galaxy support the ability to download games you have on steam, but that are also available on GOG, to be downloaded DRM-free? sort of like the GOG connected feature they use to have, where you could transfer your games you had in your steam library to your gog library if they were available on gog, thus having the option to download them from your GOG library drm-free.
No, as far as I can tell Galaxy 2 will only allow you to keep all your games on multiple clients listed in one big launcher/library for ease of access and use.

you mean you used GOG connect to connect some of your steam games and were able to download them DRM-free?
I think that user means that rights holders give the versions(sometimes) of games that Gog makes to work with newer OSs to steam so steam can use those files & their fixes without having to fix said games to sell themselves.
