Well, dang. Egg all over my face... ;)
Ah, a different pair than the one I picked, but close enough. Had CSPVG as suspicious, but highly preferred trent. Still, drealmer was obvi scum. I was really hoping Kryps would have seen that.
I'm never really scum, I might play like I am, but I'm never really scum ;)

Except when you're tying people into pretzels and setting them on fire.
So, on the general setup.

I'm really not sure that I liked it so much, but that might be because of how it played out.

Certainly, I think the Lovers' Chats were underused, but that may just be the crowd that we had this game.

I'm not sure how I feel about the wonky probabilities that result from the setup.

What are some other thoughts on the setup?

I sort of did. But, I really just wanted things to go quickly. I almost switched my vote after drealmer7 gave that BS about me being desperate (why the heck would Mafia be desperate?!).

edit: You know me, I hate discussion and just want quick lynches.

Next time I will hope for JMich to figure it out then. :P
Huh, I thought it was pretty obvious it was drealmer.

Well, wouldn't have done much good in this case. I don't think I would have trusted anything he said.

You should have switched :-P

It was, I just second guess myself. Besides, as I said before, I just wanted a quick end. I guess I am weird that way; I would rather a fast game than to win.
Well.. that was quick.

Oddest game of Mafia I've ever observed... and that's saying something with the games we've had on here...
Ah well, it was a fun game to mess around. Not too bad to experiment. This and I gathered pretty good data on players.

Also, @Booky, yeah, my Native American friend made sure to tell me that Navajo was used during world war ii.

@Agent, the actual word. Chemistry reference.

I think the setup is fine on the whole, but might need a larger scale (e.g. 6 pairs with 3 scum), since if town doesn't hit scum D1 in this 4 pair setup, they're probably hosed no matter what. And even D1 isn't quite 50/50 since scum can coordinate at least enough to tip the scales.

As Krypsyn pointed out, by D2 (the first point there's really any data at all) they either need someone from town to suicide, or scum to bus, neither of which is really all that viable.
