bhrigu: So from this week it seems like they are introducing/testing a new format by introducing a new sale format with these daily deals. However, what confuses me is that there are no newsposts announcing these promos.
Just wanted to say thanks for creating and continuing this thread, I find it most helpful - if only to see what deals I've somehow missed! Thankfully, no Age of Decadence thus far... :)

While it means I might miss an un-waitlisted deal that I otherwise might investigate and buy, I just don't have time to check GOG every day.
GOG's RSS and e-mail are never reliable.
That is why I check GOG every single day now. :-(

Their plan is mysterious because apparently there is no daily deal today. And the next weekly deal will start 12 hours later than usual?

Yes probably " the spring is coming"
Also I was wrong about the weekly sale lasting 12 hours more as they usually overlap.

The older English-only RSS feed I follow has never missed a sale in years I've been using it and the e-mails are typically delayed until a sale is half-over, but I don't remember them flat-out failing on normal sales. However, even if they did, that's why I have IsThereAnyDeal's waitlist feature as a backup.

ITAD e-mails me about waitlisted discounts before my RSS reader's hourly polling catches the sale it's talking about.

(And, besides that, my collection is so huge that it's not the tragedy it once was to miss a deal.)

The problem is, GOG have MANY Unannounced Promo [1].
And, GOG's e-mail have various bugs, including wrong discount and wrong promo info.

Which is why I use the RSS and e-mail only as "Hey! New catalogue entry! Decide whether to wishilist it!" and "Hey! New sale! Go visit GOG in the browser!" notifications and rely on IsThereAnyDeal's waitlist notifications to catch anything they miss entirely.
