I remember that sale. Game was repriced after changes. Initial discount was 50%. After that there was a sale mentioned by you and I wanted to buy the game, but during the sale the price was increased (I've noticed that at checkout, because price in basket is not always updated on GOG). As it was just after release, it was just mistake and the current discount confirms that we should wait for -75% a bit longer. Exactly as Sudden Strike offered last week -75% for a while and silently corrected to follow an usual price-changing path.

But wouldn't it have been mentioned in the sale thread if there would have been an issue with the discount? Only mentions of it there that I see are your post, listing it at 74% (probably regional price difference) off and xKeiro mentioning buying it.

As far as I know regional pricing affects base price only. Discounts in % are always the same for all regions.
But I don't want to argue, perhaps you're right. I observed the game from the beginning and my friend bought after release. But I may miss something. Does not matter, because - GOG mistake or not - technically the current price is not historical low, indeed.

I do not remember this specific case.
But web crawler usually only parse a site every few hours.
It is not uncommon that they miss some specific discount changes.
For example, gogdb.org parse GOG every two hours, but GOG's promo often have various bugs, and the price/dicount could change within two hours.

They aren't always the same. Many times you'll see 74% off, 49% off, or 79% off discounts, when the game is supposedly discounted 75% off, 50% off, or 80% off, respectively.

For instance, in the current Weekly Sale, the Full Spectrum Warrior games are 75% off in USD ($2.49 vs the regular $9.99). The regular price in Euros is 8.09€ and the discounted price is 2.09€ (because, you know, prices always have to end in 9), so the game is effectively "only" at 74.17% off.

Though to be fair, sometimes seems to be because GOG foolishly truncates the discount percentage to an integer (not to *the nearest* integer, mind you), and e.g. a 74.9% discount is displayed as a 74% discount.

Oh, but it's a bit different thing - it's because of rounding and keeping prices at *.99. In general there are no situations where different regions get e.g. 50% and 75% at the same time - or am I wrong?

No, no, you're right! In my experience, discounts in different regions are off by 2% at most. I'm pretty sure that's what Cavalary meant when mentioning the 75%-74% difference.

Yep, that's what I meant, just that it should have been 75% for base price but showed as 74% in Poland.

As for what kbnrylaec said, GOGDB lists it as 75% off between April 16 and 23, and archive.org saved the page twice in that interval, on April 19 and 22, both listing 75% off. Not an issue of a few hours...

Underrail is one of the best turn based RPGs I've played.
Highly recommended if you like Fallout 2. I haven't played Fallout 1, but I've read/assume that it is very good and similar to Fallout 2. The combat in this game is amazing.

They've added some QoL stuff like maps too. AND there is a gigantic expansion on the horizon as well.

Some bullet points for people.
- Low system requirements
- 2D isometric, very good looking graphics imo. Expansion looks even slicker.
- Turn based tactical combat
- Exploration
- Optional Oddity xp system, where you find artifacts throughout the world that act as xp, rather than kills. Apparently this system gives pretty much the same xp as a normal game. I play with Oddity always.
- Skill checks
- Can NOT be 100% proficient in every skill like New Vegas
