I searched the forums briefly for any mention of GOG Connect, but didn't find anything so I thought I'd open this question for people to be able to ask questions about GOG Connect that is NOT already addressed in their FAQ.

So my question. I can infer the answer, but I'd like a more definitive answer if possible. The GOG Connect functionality that makes a Steam game available on GOG(for participating developers/games only) does it automatically update when new games are authorized, or do you have to check back and hit the refresh manually every so often? I suspect it is the latter, but would like confirmation, or hopefully(fingers crossed) a refutation of this assertion.

It's the latter (you have to to check and manually claim each eligible game after linking your Steam account) but it really is only limited to a very few titles and only during major sales (usually summer & winter). It's not an automated thing that adds them by itself, you do have to click on a button, but it's also not something that you'd check for every week and regularly goes for months at a time with no games on it and many only check it during the big sales.
