My apologies for having to take this to the forum, but the lack of response to a customer support ticket by this company drives this post.

In the latest round of GOG offerings, Sins of a Solar Empire is listed. I have the product (same edition) in my Steam account. Unfortunately its not recognized by the GOG account. I've sent a customer support ticket early in the week and have had no response (other than the automated initial one).

Q: Has anyone had a problem with this particular game (obtaining in your GOG account on connect)?
Q: How long does customer service take to get back to you?
Q: When the product is no longer available on connect, will I still be able to obtain in view of my customer service request to do so?
Lots of people have this problem - so there will probably be a response some time.

Quite a few other people have. Not sure how many have successfully gotten the game through Connect.

It depends on the issue, when you file the ticket, and how busy they are. Do be aware that, besides probably being extra busy because of the sale + Connect promo, it is the weekend, and GOG is minimally staffed outside of regular Monday-Friday office hours. (Also, they're in Poland, so there'll be a 6- to 9-hr. time difference between them and you if you're in the contiguous U.S.)

Not sure about the answer to your last question.

What do you mean by "its not recognized by the GOG account" ? Are you trying to run the Steam version from within GOG or something?

Edit: NVM, I'm guessing you are referring to the specific "GOG Connect" service in which case I don't have an answer.

To answer the last question: As you DID open a ticket in TIME, yes you will.
After adding a couple games to steam (from humble bundle keys) I've seen it take a couple days before it registered and gave me the game(s).

By same edition, you mean you have the Ultimate Edition (as I have read it was offered on Steam only for some time then taken down)?

If not, this is probably caused by the fact how the Steam API handles DLCs i.e. does not see them.

No one is able to connect that game, I explained it in another topic. GOG must get A LOT of tickets about this issue so they are not wasting time to reply "we are working on it" or to manually grant the game, instead working on easy solution. And you can read GOG response in this topic.
